As I discussed my plan to get Hamdan's evil doppelganger out of the palace, I realized even this would not be enough for him to forgive me. So I decided, knowing what he could be like when someone 'lied' to him, to start accepting that maybe this was it for us. He was furious and Laurel threatened to break up with him if he continued treating me as he was.

She had mentioned he was worried she would leave him but he still seemed adamant in continuing with his attitude.

Dawoud was gone and I couldn't blame him. This life had taken so much from him, took his dad, his friends, his family, and everything he held dear. I couldn't hold it against him because his wounds were still raw and bleeding.

"So we frame Hamdan-X?" asked Laurel.

"Yes, we frame him by telling the media that he's a terrorist who had the intention of changing his appearance to match his, to usurp his place as crown prince."

"And that the mark that would distinguish one from the other is that he has a scar on his right side?" asked Rashid. "The scar I left him with."

"Yes" I said. "It's the only way. He's exposed himself to the people, made them believe he is their crown prince."

"And how do we go about doing that?" asked Laurel, with Hamdan sitting next to her.

"We hack the TV stations and send out a video that states he's a fraud and the real Hamdan will make a televised speech, explaining he was kidnapped but...leaving out that his Earth-X doppelganger did it" I said.

"Then it's a plan!" said Rashid.

"Good, so let's get started with the hack and finally expose this sorry excuse for a human being to the rest of the world and make him understand that no one messes with our planet, or our universe for that matter."

Mia walked in along with Mon-El, two people from different eras of the future, who knew about the future Earth-X invasion of our earth.

Mia walked up to me, as did Hamdan. Hamdan's expression was still as cold as it has been since returning.

He walked up to me, Mia feeling somewhat intimidated because his look was not only mean but it was angry, down to his eyes.

"I want you to know that this does not change anything between us!" he coldly said.

I sighed, feeling the sting of his words penetrating deep within my heart and soul. I knew it was over and that things would never be the same between us. I had a feeling that nothing would ever be fixed between us.

"I know. And I won't try and convince you because I know you won't forgive me, ever."

"And don't ever forget it! Because betrayal and lies, are two of the things I hate the most and you've done both!"

"Are you done bashing me?!" I was now not only dad, but I was angry.

"Yes, I am. Get this done so I can go home and so we can finally just be out of each other's way!" he added, this time sounding angrier and icier.

He walked away, looking at me as if I was the enemy. He looked at me disdainfully and that was starting to hurt.

"Are you okay?" asked Mia.

"I'll live. We have work to do" I said, swallowing my sorrows and tears.

Then out of nowhere, Dawoud showed up, surprising me.
