Blog Entry 7
I finally got out of Ade's car around lunch. I walked shakily over to the cafeteria, tripping over my own feet. I needed to find Chris. He was literally the only person I could talk to. I was on the verge of tears. I stumbled through the crowd of people, trying to locate him, silent tears tumbled down my cheeks.I turned to exit making an extra effort to hide my puffy face until I collided with something.... solid. I looked up to see Chris's smirk turn sour when he saw my tear stained face. He grabbed me, and I broke down. Daniel, Keith and Lucas blocked me from the view of all the people staring, looks of concern appeared on their faces. Chris was the only thing keeping me from falling, I was shaking and sobbing. I was a mess. My makeup was being washed away by my river of tears. I felt Chris's arms grip me securely. He didn't even heave as he lifted me bridal style out of the cafeteria. The boys stayed behind looking at me with a worried expression. He carried me away to the library. No one was there because to be honest, no one wants to spend lunch in the library, especially on Taco Monday.
He set me down on a lumpy floral couch and pulled up a chair across from me, resting his hand on his fists, his beautiful brown eyes stared at me, trying to read my face. I sobbed and his face got even more twisted in concern. "Who did this to you?" he asked trying to sound calm, but I knew he was really mad. "No one, I don't know, myself?" I asked questioning the answer. This wasn't Ade's fault. It was mine. "Then what happened?" he questioned. I shook my head. "What's wrong?" he asked softly. He breathed out a long sigh and ran his fingers through his hair at my silence. "Do I have to ask again?" He breathed out. I shook my head and began to tell him my story, fresh tears streaming down my face.

"And she's right. I've been a horrible friend. She's done so much for me and all I've done is avoid her." I concluded. Chris looked at me with sad eyes. I met his eyes. "So do you even want to go out because I would understand," he said sadly. " I don't know what I want anymore because I want to go out with you, but she hates you, and I don't even know why." I said between sobs. "I just want everything to be ok again. Ade hates me and you're going to hate me too." I said completely done with everything. "I don't and will never hate you." he said flatly. "Why? The only thing I've done for you is tutor you and you're half way to acing calculus. Don't say I've been you're friend because you have Keith, Lucas and Daniel so one mistake, and you won't feel too bad to let me go. You have enough girls to keep you entertained anyway. I messed it up with a friend I've known since kindergarten and I've only known you for a couple weeks. I'm going to mess up like I did with Ade." I said angrily. I wasn't mad at him. I was mad at myself. At the sound of her name I tensed and sobbed. "I'm too stressed enough with my classes and I don't need you hating me too." I stood up shakily just to fall into Chris's arms. I sobbed into his shoulder. Why is it that every time I see him, it ends or begins with me sobbing hysterically like a crazy person into some part of him. He held me resting his chin on my head holding me until I stopped crying.-/-
I decided I would just stay home. I sat on my bed in my Cookie Monster pajamas waiting for Netflix to load until I heard a series of taps on the window. Seriously how clique could Chris be? Plus, I don't want to go out. I pulled back the curtain slightly. "Seriously Kitty? How clique do you think I am?" I jumped at the sound of Chris's voice. I held my hand over my heart steadying myself. "God, Chris!" He smirked at me. "How did you even get in here?" I asked questioningly. "Fake rocks are the most obvious thing in the world, seriously." he smirked and laughed. "Wow." I drawled. "Why are you even here?" I questioned with a laugh. "We have a date." He said happily. "I'm in my jammies, and I don't feel like going out. Come on you have other girls that would love to do more than dinner with you. Go! I have a date with my sexy boyfriend Mr. Netflix." I pushed him towards the door and jumped onto my bed. I sat defiantly in my bed starting to load season 7 of The Office. "Fine then you give me no choice. Scoot." he said pointing to the empty space in my bed.
"Fine." I breathed, scooting over. Chris shook off his converse and climbed under my fluffy comforter. I glared at him as he smirked at me. I pressed play and we both settled in for a couple hours of Dunder Mifflin antics. I'm happy he came. I smiled at him and snuggled into his frame.

I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing. Chris was laying next to me still asleep. He had crumbs all over his face from our snacking. I laughed because the bad boy was drooling, holding a can of Pringles like a teddy bear.
The ring of my phone snapped me back into reality. I picked it up a little scared because it was Adeline's mom and the last time she called me Adeline couldn't talk because she was really sick. "Hello?" I asked. "Hello, Lindy sweetie, it's Adeline's mother." her voice was shaky as if she'd been crying. "Something's happened." then she broke down completely.
