*takes place after senior year during the summer before everyone heads off to college

I paced around the backyard in my sea foam green bridesmaid dress. I was so nervous to walk down the aisle with the bridal party. I was first followed by Serena's sorority girlfriend, her cousin and last, her maid of honor, her sister May, then the bride herself. Serena looked absolutely gorgeous with her red hair pinned back, light makeup and lacy, white princess dress. I envied her effortless beauty.

Chris stood beside me looking down at me. "What?" I asked looking up at his amused expression. "You look absolutely stunning." he said without stuttering. My cheeks heated up as the music started. Chris squeezed my hand and took it as we walked down the aisle. Ollie was on the altar we set up in Chris's huge backyard. He let us use the space and the ballroom for the reception. After my father's funeral, we didn't have my money for a giant ceremony but Ollie and Serena didn't care.

Ollie was standing there smiling at me as I walked up with Chris. I went to my side as I split with Chris. The other bridesmaids joined me then Serena walked down the aisle with her father. Oliver looked absolutely ecstatic. He smiled and a couple tears of joy leaked from his eyes. He looked at her with a look of complete admiration.

I stood there smiling. I was absolutely confident that would be me and Chris someday.

After my father died, senior year approached quickly. Oliver and Serena rescheduled their wedding because they didn't want to overshadow the funeral so they went back to college and would come back on breaks to wedding plan.

Chris and I had the best senior year possible. I graduated with an honors diploma and a couple IB credits. We made good enough grades without killing ourselves, and we would both be heading to Princeton and living in an apartment not far from campus in the fall.

Kara moved up here to be with Daniel and go to school with us. Everyone loved her! She and Daniel would be attending Princeton with us.

Keith was heading to China to take a year off and explore before college. He calls it "finding himself" but I think he just didn't want to go to college.

Lucas got the highest SAT scores of the school so recruiters were throwing themselves at him. He ended up choosing the full ride to Yale to study Law. We couldn't be prouder.

We were all ready to move on. I was excited to be moving on with Chris. I know he's the one so no use breaking it off before college.

He smiled at me across the altar as Oliver and Serena kiss. "Finally!" I heard him whisper. I smiled.

The reception was beautiful, the food was great, everything was perfect.

The music began to play and everyone got out on the dance floor.

All my friends were there having a great time. Suddenly A Love Like This by Kodaline came through the speakers. Chris took my hands and danced with me. I laughed as he spun me around, dipping me. The song ended. "I love you so much," he said smiling. "I love you more," I said reaching up to kiss him. Well Kodaline a love like this does last forever.
