Daniel proposed to Kara on New Year's Eve. Chris and I were out with them and it was 11:55 and Daniel got down on one knee and said, "Kara, you know more than anything that I love you more than anything could ever express. Will you spend the rest of this year and all our years with me? I'd like to start again with you by my side. You are the best part of my life that brings out the best in me. Kara, will you make my life the best it could possibly be by joining me at the altar? The only thing I would ever change about you is your last name. Kara Bremerhan, will you marry me?" Everyone's heart dropped as Kara stood there under the lights in shock. A single tear fell from her eyes. "Of course, Daniel. I love you so much!" She sobbed and flew into his arms.

"THREE! TWO! ONE! HAPPY NEW YEAR!" the club yelled. Daniel pulled Kara close kissing her sweetly. They pulled apart and he slipped the ring onto her shaking finger. It was a stunning, sparkly diamond. Chris pulled me out of the stupor my inner hopeless romantic put me in with a warm, sweet kiss. "Happy New Year." He whispered. "Dude! Congrats!" He high fived Daniel who was looking down at his soon to be wife with a look of complete adoration.

"Congratulations!" I pulled Kara into a hug. "Thanks." She said looking up at Daniel lovingly. They would be happy together forever I could tell.

I stood confidently next to Chris in my electric blue bridesmaid dress ready to walk through the doors. Chris looked over at me and mouthed the word beautiful to me. I blushed. A soft piano suite played. I turned around to see Kara in her beautiful almost Grecian style floor length wedding dress. I helped do her simple undo and makeup with her bridal party this morning. She looked positively radiant.

I turned around to give Kara a reassuring smile. She looked at me scared but excited and gave me a quick hug. "Thanks for being my maid of honor. It's only right because you were there from the beginning of us you know. Same with Chris being Daniel's best man. Thanks Lind." she said quietly. "Of course. I said beaming. The doors swung open and I held onto my bouquet of lilies.

Kara held onto her dad's arm and looked ahead. I walked out to the wedding march Chris by my side. Daniel stood at the altar looking absolutely handsome in his suit.

We walked up the long altar and finally split to our respective sides.

Kara joined Daniel and he started crying at how beautiful his bride looked. A couple tears escaped my eyes and I wiped them away hurriedly. The rest of the ceremony continued. The whole church went silent at "You may kiss the bride." Daniel and Kara kissed passionately, love in their eyes and hearts. They pulled apart and everyone clapped as they were pronounced man and wife. We exited the church, took some pictures then proceeded to the hotel to get ready for the reception.

I freshened up my makeup, hairspray and deodorant and left my and Chris's room in search of Kara's. I walked down the hallway and tried several of the keycards they bridal party gave me until I found the right one. I walked in to find Kara sitting on her bed in silence staring at her wedding ring.

"Hey!" I said carefully entering the room. She snapped up to look at me. "Hey Honey. I'm just enjoying the silence. When you and Chris get married you'll understand." I blushed at the thought of me and Chris getting married. "I still can't wrap my head around growing old with Daniel. I love him more than I ever thought possible but I never pictured myself getting married. I'm nervous about having kids and what if I'm not cut out to be a mother and keep house and be a good wife? What if he figures that out and wants someone else and wishes he never married me?" She looked at her ring and sighed. "You have nothing to worry about. You guys will be really happy I can tell. He loves you more than words can say. He loves you for you not your cleaning skills." I laughed. "He married you for a reason and that's because he wants to spend the rest of his life with you." I smiled at her beaming, tearstained face. "Thanks Lindy." she said hoarsely. She smiled up at me, "Let's get ready to go." She got up and lead me towards the bathroom.
