I'll be honest, I wasn't planning on publishing this, but take it as a Christmas special! I know I haven't published anything in a long while, I've been struggling with life stuff and barely writing between things. But I've made this! Enjoy the angst!

"Okay, few last touches and then.."

Dream let out a triumphant noise, holding the decorated mask in hand. He was going to show everyone his face finally. Only Sapnap, Bad, Puffy and Foolish knew what he looked like.

He slipped it on, making sure it was on right as he went to open the door and walk to the kitchen where the rest of the feral boys were.

Dream stopped before he turned the corner, gasping inaudibly in disbelief.

"His wheeze is so annoying, dying kettle? More like dying whale, oh my XD." He heard his best friend say, Sapnap's tone was something he'd never really heard directed at anyone they knew.

"So damn clingy all the time too, especially with me. Dream is so desperate for my 'love' when I don't love him at all. It's really stupid." George spoke, earning murmurs of agreement from the other three.

"He's too arrogant for his own good too, he's gonna just drag us down."

"Maybe we should drop him then, Quackity is right he'll just take us down with him." Karl and Quackity too.

Dream felt his hands began to shake, the panic and shocking betrayal trying to take over.

"He's taking so damn long, didn't he 'have a surprise' for us?" George groaned.

"Yeah, probably some lackluster gifts, his are never the best." Sapnap replied, unaware the man they were talking about could hear everything.

Dream pulled off the mask, staring at the little handpainted holiday themed decorations on the ceramic surface.

"Maybe he's showing his face, what's he look like, Sap?" Karl asked, the others seemed to be curious.

"Well, he kinda looks good, but in all honesty ehh. With all his scars too, and his face when he laughs, it just doesn't do it for him."

Dream dropped the mask, running towards the back door as the ceramic mask hit the ground with a thud and cracked across the middle. Straight through a painted Christmas tree.

He couldn't hear if they reacted to it, anxiety roaring in his ears as he opened the door and closed it behind him quickly. Dream let out a small hiss from the cold hitting him, forecast was showing snow for the night, and it had yet to fall.

Dream sat down just by the door, hugging his legs close to his chest. Tears were running down his cheeks, and when he reached to wipe them he felt his scars.

The tears only flowed faster as he tried to hide his face in his knees. He could hear some commotion inside, but he didn't dare look up through the window beside the door to see what.

After too many minutes of sitting in the cold crying, he finally felt his body go numb to the cold. Dream knew this could get bad, he could get hypothermia if he stayed out much longer. But he didn't really care.

Snow had began to fall, slow small flakes. Dream reached a hand out, catching one and watching as it just sat on his freezing scarred hand.

He heard the back door start to open, but he was already being pulled to unconsciousness by now. The snowfall had picked up significantly, turning from small flakes to quick and rapid snow that started to cover the ground.
