Chapter ten

My class has been going surprisingly very well and Bell is a natural with the kids while Nora is a quiet statue for the most part.

"Nora lighten up," I whispered to her.
She gives me a funny look, since I'm not officially Luna yet I'm not able to link others in the pack, just Zeke because he's my mate.

So she leans closer to me, "sorry it's just I'm not very good with pups, I don't really spend much time with them," she whispers and I just pat her arm giving her an encouraging or I hope it is, look.

"Luna.. Luna.. what if we are in our wolf forms what do we do?" A little girl asks.

"I will show you some moves for that as well but for now we will focus on this first, ok everyone gather around." I wait till they all make a crescent around me. "I want you all to promise me right now.. till I say you are strong enough to do so.. that you will stay close to the pack lands and not go anywhere alone. Can you do that for me?" I ask and they nod as they say "I promise Luna".

"Good now our special class is done for the day, follow your teachers back to class, we will be having training class every day at this time from now on till you are ready or I can get our lovely Nora here to take over," I say smiling and she has a priceless look on her face. Her jaw is dropped and her eyes are totally bugged out.

I couldn't help it, I burst into a fit of giggles and she blushes bright pink. Leaning on her I pat her back, "I'm kidding.. I'm kidding," I assure her and her stiff posture relaxes slightly.

One of the pups comes up to her, "Miss Nora... do you not like us?" The little girl asks her and she crouches down so that they are eye to eye.

"It's not that little one, I just have times where I don't realize my own strength and I am afraid of hurting any of you. That and I'm not very fun." She says smiling but sounding sad.

The pup surprises her by giving her a big hug, "it's ok Miss Nora we like you even when you're quiet."

Nora's eyes water a bit as she pats the pup's back. "Thankyou" she says smiling. It was like the ok was given to everyone so all the kids came running to give her a hug.

After we left Nora was quiet then she said, "I had a little brother once. He was killed when were still little. We were playing out in the woods by the creak near our house," sniffing she turns to me hugging me suddenly. "Thankyou Luna, thankyou for having the patience and know how to teach the pups."

I give her a hug back as she cries, looking over her shoulder I see Bell with a sad thoughtful look on his face.

We part ways not long afterwards, Nora wanting to hit the gym to let off some stress.

"I was friends with her brother, we were eight when he was killed. He died trying to protect Nora after they had hurt her really bad. She almost died too, she's been training like crazy since she got out of the pack hospital. She stopped being a kid that day and has avoided being around kids since," Bell says.

"Be strait with me Bell is she your mate?" I ask looking at him stopping so that he will too.

"No but we used to like each other when we were younger before Neo died. After that she wouldn't talk to me, I think it hurt too much to be around me. So we drifted and now we just snark at each other." He shrugs and we start walking again.

"I'm sorry that things happened that way, that you lost not one but both friends that day. But maybe you can be friends again now?" I said.

"I don't know but maybe," he has a small smile on his face at the thought.

When we get back to the house it's almost dinner time and Zeke has taken matters into his own hands. The smell of pizza hits us as we walk in and it smells so good.

"I forgot to ask what you would like so I got meat lovers, pepperoni with stuffed crust, and a Hawaiian style pizza," Zeke says and we end up splitting all three into equal portions.

That night I went to bed stuffed with pizza. "Man that was good!" I sigh happily rubbing my food baby.

Zeke lays next to me chuckling, "yeah it was, do like my mad dinner making skills?" He asks and I crack up laughing.

"Oh yes, your pizza "making" skills are unmatched," I say giggling.

Turning on his side he puts his hand on my food baby, "I wish this was a real baby, our baby." Looking into my eyes he asks, "do you want pups?"

"Yes I do, but I have a feeling that it won't be for a while. Not till we have some peace and stability. I can ask the Goddess if you want but I think she will say the same thing," I say sadly.

I hadn't really thought about it too much but yes I do want pups. I wish we could be rubbing my belly with a pup in it. But my mind and heart is telling me not till I know it's safe to do so.

"One day baby, one day we will be chasing around our pups," he says spooning me with a sad sigh.

That night I had a meeting with the Goddess, I was right now was not the time. "Don't worry my child you will know when it's time." She had a beautiful smile as she said that.

After we began talking about the training and more things that I could teach, it was like coming up with a teaching plan... Very informative.
