Blaze

Last night after I put my little Rosey to bed, I waited for any news from the Goddess. Who would have thought I would be having conversations with her. When I was a pup I never would have guessed my life would turn out this way. Would I change any of it? Yes, I would definitely want to change some things, but would I still have my little flower?

She is probably the only thing I would never want to change. Also Liam, but I doubt my life changing would change what my parents did to get him. Also no matter what I would always love my little brother.

"Son, can you come to the medical wing?" My mom linked me.

"Yeah is everything okay?" I start to panic.

"Oh yeah, everything is fine. We just want you to give one last look over the supplies we have procured. You said you would be needing them soon correct? Also some of the best healers that our neighbors could spare are due to arrive tomorrow," she says all business.

I turn the last corner about to head in when The Goddess shows up.

"Blaze you will need to have moved out with the supplies we discussed by noontime tomorrow at the latest" she says before disappearing just as fast as she appeared.

Uh ok that was fast thankfully everyone and everything should be good to go by then.

I head into where my mom is double, probably more like triple checking everything. It's the most medical supplies I've ever seen. "Wow, this is great I'll start having our guys get the transports loaded up. That way we can leave when the healers get here," I say turning to leave.

"Already, is there no time for the healers to rest?" Franky one of the orderlies who has been helping mom asks.

"Sadly no, we have to leave no later than noon. So as soon as I'm sure they're all here we're leaving, I'll wait as long as I can for stragglers," I say when I notice that he wants to argue with me. "The Moon Goddess has said that it can be no later than noon, would you argue with the Goddess?" I ask raising one of my eyebrows.

"No Sir," he says backing off. Before my reform, he would not have dared to even meet my eyes. I have mixed feelings about this new development. On one hand I'm glad I'm more approachable but on the other does that mean they think I'm weak?

If I had the time I would question him, how he feels about it or at least his thoughts. Alas I haven't the time for those kind of inquiries.

I gather up some of the guys to help start loading the trucks. We finished in about an hour, I thanked the guys for their help then headed upstairs to check on Rosey before getting some sleep. Tomorrow was gonna be a long day.

Zeke

We began moving out in our groups as soon as the sun began to set. Moving as quietly as possible to the entry points we chose, according to the maps the twins were able to provide.

I wish that Artemis was in my group so I could make sure that she stays safe. Unfortunately that isn't the case, even Nora and Bell are leading different groups. Luckily Tilly and Rye decided to come with us, not only that but they made more stones for us. Unfortunately not everyone has one though, they could only make enough for every third person.

So certain people have been given the stones, like for instance those that are entering first. Also Fox and Grimm's group that is going to save the prisoners. They get the additional help of Rye, he thinks that if maybe the floors are not enchanted he can tunnel everyone out.

Tilly on the other hand will be staying hidden outside of the walls focusing on boosting the stones spells, I think.

Artemis had volunteered to go bring down the golem factory, but I sent her to find the leader's special stone instead. I just hope it's safer over there.

Bell's group is hitting their power plant, Tilly was able to see from the info the twins provided that the attack spells actually ran on power. So Bell is going to fuck up their shit like it's no ones business.

Nora and I have the honor of leading our attacking decoy groups, we're attacking from the north and south. To push them to the center like squishing a sandwich, man it's a good thing Arty made me eat or else I would be hungry now.

As soon as we all get into position, I give the go ahead and we begin.

Artemis

I wish I was on the fighting team but Zeke put his foot down last night. "I wont be able to concentrate if you're in danger in front of me!" That was his excuse for me to have this job, even though I'm "the freaking Moon Goddess' warrior" he still didn't want me out there. I'm the best fighter we have!

Grumbling internally I make my way up a dark set of stairs, and quit grumbling in my head. There are humanoid golems up here! Thank the Goddess that the stairs are stone and not squeaky wood.

I need to take these things out but I have to find the stone first. Sneaking into the room next to me I begin looking around. As I look about my heart sinks, it's a little girl's room. Its all pink and purple colors everywhere, on the little nightstand is a single photo. It's a woman smiling holding her two kids who also are smiling at the camera. The little girl is maybe ten years old or so, and the boy is two maybe three at most. In all likelihood too young to even remember her well.

They look like their mama, it's sad and it hurts my heart. To know her mate became a monster who took their mama from them, I just hope their kids are still alive. In any case once I find him he's dead.
