Chapter eleven

Today I decided to go ahead and have the pups learn some techniques in their wolf form as well. After my chat with the Goddess I had a nightmare of some unnamed pup being attacked and killed while another was taken away. I woke up in a cold sweat, if I can prevent that from happening, I will do what I can to make it so that nightmare never comes to be.

So as Nora, a still chugging coffee Bell, and I walked to the pup school. I told them my plan for the lesson today, both nodded liking the idea. So when we got there I went up front to explain today's lesson.

"Goodmorning pups today you will be shifting, Beta Bell will be shifting as well to assist in demonstrating what we will be teaching you today," as soon as I finish speaking some of the pups start bouncing and a few start waving to get my attention.

"Yes," I ask a little boy who has been waving.

"Will you shift too?"

"I can so you can see my wolf form if you like, but for the lesson no I'll be staying in human form. I haven't had my ceremony yet so you won't be able to talk with me while shifted yet," I explained and he nodded.

"Can we see? Can we see?" The other pups ask to see my wolf form so I go ahead and go behind a tree. Stripping out of my clothes I shift into my wolf form.

Walking out from behind the tree the pups gasped, I walk back to my original spot and sit giving them a wolfy grin letting my tongue hang out.

The kids giggle and one of the little girls ask if they can touch my fur. Standing back up I walk to her and rub against her. The pups all begin to chant "me next! me next!" So I obliged them. The last pup held my face and looked into my eyes, "Luna's eyes awe so pwetty." I give her a lick on the cheek as thanks making her giggle.

After I had made sure to let each pup touch my silvery white fur I went back behind the tree shifted and got back into my clothes.

"Ok now everyone here knows how to shift right?" I ask and they all nod eagerly. "Good you will take turns going behind the trees to shift, then Beta Bell will as well. After he's ready we will begin, any questions before we start?" I ask and they shake their heads no.

"Ok let's get started!" Bell says clapping his hands and the kids line up with their normal teacher's help we get them all shifted and ready in fifteen minutes. Which for a group of twenty five pups isn't too bad.

I have to say they are the cutest little things you'll ever see. Think.. CUTEST PUPPIES ON EARTH. I'm impressed and surprised that they immediately line up and sit on their butts.

"Ok everyone today," I stop as Bell trots out but continue, "Miss Nora is going to play the part of the person trying to take you and Beta Bell is going to be you. We are starting this way then they will switch places."

The pups nod and we spend the next half hour with me talking everything out while the others act it out. Then they switch positions so that the pups could see that even though Nora was smaller even in wolf form the techniques that we were showing still helped.

Then it was the pups turn each getting a one on one chance with both Bell and Nora. It was a very long day, by the end we were all pooped. The pups did very good they listened extremely well and no one got hurt. Well no one but Bell a few times.

The cutest and possibly the funniest part of our day was when a little girl named Lexi came up to Bell and said he was really cute, he blushed and thanked her. A little boy whose name is John didn't like that though, I'm fairly certain he's got a crush on her. How do I know you may ask, well let's just say Bell's shins may be bruised.
Awe young love...

"Man those kiddos got sharp teeth," Bell whines as we're walking back to the house making Nora and I laugh.

"Luna... Luna wait please!" I hear someone calling.

Stopping we turn around at the same time and I see a lady jogging to catch up with me.

"Luna.. I just wanted to thankyou for starting to teach our pups. I'm Noah and Jessica's mom, he told me yesterday that you said I gave him good advice." At my questioning look she clarified, "about climbing the tree and hiding if someone comes after them." She says and I remember the boy's face. "I always wondered if there was something more I could have told him but I'm not a fighter so I.." she stops talking her eyes watering. "Sorry I just... lost my brother last month... I still have nightmares that I will lose my pups too," she sniffs and I hug her.

"You don't ever have to thank me, I will do all I can to help train our young and everyone else to be able to defend themselves. This pack is my home I will defend it." I say patting her back.

"We are lucky the Goddess sent you," she says smiling at me with tears still staining her face.

"No I'm the lucky one," I say back honestly.

"Oh I didn't even tell you my name, hi I'm Sidney Stewart I work as a seamstress here in the town just down the mountain. If you ever need anything just let me know," say says.

Hmm now that she mentions it, I decided to ask about my dress since Zeke just keeps telling me that he has it covered.

I swear think of him and he shall appear! Just as I was about to ask about details on my dress Zeke comes up out of nowhere and tosses me over his shoulder, "oh no you don't! It's a surprise!"

"Oh come on!" I yell frustrated as he's walking away from the others making them laugh at us.
