Story 32 Rom-Com

*Jens pov*

I just got sent the script for a new Rom-com that I am going to be doing with David. I facetimed him as soon as I opened it. He answered almost straight away. My face lit up when I saw him smiling at me through the screen.

Jen: Hi DAVID!!!

David: HII JENNY!

Jen: I just got my script for Summer of love.

David: Cool, I got mine earlier this morning

Jen: Yay

David: Do you want to read some of it through just now

Jen: Yeah!

So we opened the scripts and started reading. We didn't read too much because we didn't want to spoil the best bits. David has a flight arranged for tomorrow and he's going to come and stay with me for the whole time we are filming. I am SO excited to get to spend so much time with him as I have missed him since friends ended, not seeing him every day will never not be weird. When he arrives we are going to have lunch then read through the script again but the whole thing and actually act it out. Then the day after we are starting filming. I can't' Wait!

*The next day*

Jen heard a knock at the door and leapt up to go answer it. The door flung open and David and Jen embraced in a tight hug that lasted a long while. When they finished hugging they went inside and Jen showed David to the spare room next to her room and he put all his stuff in the cupboards while Jen sat and watched before having to go make lunch. When David was done he went back to the kitchen and sat at the bar stool at the counter watching her as she cooked. They ate and caught up on everything that has happened over the last 17 years. Neither of them had laughed that hard in ages.

When they were done lunch David helped Jen to clear up before they both went and sat on the couch. Jen got the scripts out and they started acting through it. It got to the scene where their characters are flirting in the hotel room. Neither of them read any further than the line they were on so it was a surprise for them.

Soon they reached the bit that said..

Then they kiss

Jen looked up from her script and into his eyes, he was already gazing down at her. They slowly leant in until their lips locked. At first it was just a small kiss but then it began to deepen and deepen as they realised they had never lost those crushes from the "first few seasons" of friends and how incredibly in love they were.

That night they decided that they didn't need the other bed and that they would both sleep in Jens bed and just use the spare room to store David's clothes.

*The next day*

*Jens pov*

I woke up and remembered that David was laid next to me his arms around me fast asleep. Today was the day that we got to film the new movie and I am dying to get to set already, it's going to be so fun. I rolled over and kissed David to wake him up and them dragged him out of bed so he would get dressed and come work out with me. He got some joggers on and a t-shirt while I got my leggings and top on too. We went and worked out although he just sat there staring at me most of the time. Then I went for a shower and he snuck in and joined me half way through.

When we were done "showering" we went and got breakfast then left for set.

On set it was really hard for us to stay away from each other and we were glad to start filming so we could act like a couple again. The time we spent on set was the most fun I've had since friends. After about a week of filming we decided to give up on acting as if we weren't together and started flirting all the time off camera until basically everyone knew. The rest of the world found out when we did press for the movie. Everyone was really happy for us and our phones and social media kind of got spammed with congratulations messages.
