Story 40 Scream premiere

*Jen's pov*

I am about to leave to go to the scream 5 premiere, the whole friends cast is going to be there to support Court. Luckily everyone was in town today, even David. I'm so excited to see him again because its been a while since the reunion and I miss him. It was amazing seeing him again but I wish I could've said something about my feelings for him. I am determined to do something about it tonight but without taking the spotlight off of Court.

*David's Pov*

I'm on my way to the scream 5 premiere just now and I get to see all the friends cast again for the first time since the reunion. I'm especially excited to see Jen because I was meaning to talk to her at the reunion and tell her how I feel about her but that never really happened in the end because we were too busy. I hope I can let her know tonight just so she knows.

As she pulled up in her car she saw everyone waiting outside for her. She got out and hurriedly walked over and greeting them all with a hug. When she hugged David she never wanted to let go and neither did he. When they broke the hug David kept his hand on Jens shoulder as they walked out onto the red carpet. Without realising she reached up to her shoulder and placed her hand on his.

After the red carpet they all went in to watch the movie. Johnny sat on the end of the row with Courteney to his left then next to her was Jen then David sat next to her. Lisa, Matt and Matthew all sat to David's left.

The movie started and Jen was terrified but tried not to show it. Admittedly David and everyone else were quite scared too but they also didn't show it.

About half way through Jen got a fright and nearly shat herself. She grabbed David's knee in her shock making his heart beat faster, after she recovered they both looked down at it slowly then up into each others eyes. She was about to remove her hand but then he put his hand on top of hers and rubbed it gently. She forgot how to breathe for a minute and gulped to regain her composure. She kept her hand on David's knee and he kept his hand on hers rubbing the back of her hand with his thumb. The movie was just getting scarier and scarier and he could tell that she was terrified so he slid his hand under hers and held her hand in his. Feeling this she turned to him and smiled which he returned. This gave her comfort but also butterflies. Throughout the movie without realising she ended up shuffling closer and closer to him in her seat until she was right up against the arm rest. He didn't notice for a while but at one point he glanced over at her and realised she was now almost in his chair instead of hers. He didn't quite know what to do but he decided to put his arm round her. This made something inside her light up, like a little flame. Her eyes gleamed as she smiled up at him her blue eyes shining in the light of the big screen. She held his hand again but this time over her shoulder and that's how they stayed for the rest of the movie.

When it ended everyone filed out of the cinema. Courteney and the rest of the scream cast went and did all the promo stuff while everyone else went and got drinks.

When Court came back they all decided to go back to her house for a meal together. They all got in their cars and drove to her house. They went inside and chatted on the sofa while Courteney cooked. Jen was sat in an armchair next to the couch David was sat on and she couldn't stop staring at him and those greeny brown eyes. He too kept taking sneaky glances over at her, hoping upon hopes that he would have the courage to talk to her at some point. Just as he was thinking this she turned her head again and met his gaze. This is when he realised he'd gotten lost in his thoughts and had been staring at her for a while now. He zoned back in and smiled nervously she beamed radiantly back at him.

At this moment Courteney yelled from outside.

Court: Dinners readyyyy!!

All: Okay coming!
