Story 41 Mirror mirror on the wall who's the hottest of them all

The entire cast of friends were sat in the little golf buggy singing car pool karaoke with James Corden on their way to do an interview with him on the set of Central Perk. Jen was sat in front of David in the car but she had wanted to sit next to him but Courteney didn't let her. James parked the car in a parking spot outside the sets and almost killed them all.  David got off before anyone else and waited for Jen to get off and then put his arm around her shoulder. As they walked towards the building he realised he probably shouldn't because nobody knew about them yet so he removed it. They went inside and sat down on the couch in central perk. David didn't want to be away from Jen so he went and sat on the arm of the couch next to her. 

They started chatting for a while until James came and sat in a chair to Lisa's right. He started the interview asking them a bit about what it was like to be back after so many years. After they told him he asked a couple of questions like: Who stole the most clothes and who will always be there for you. When it came to him asking who's the best dancer, Jen and David immediately pointed to each other. Jen had the urge to hug him so she did and when she opened her eyes Andrea and Cleo were stood behind the camera making love hearts with their hands. She tried to hold back her laughter as she readjusted herself and where she was sitting. He gulped when she stopped hugging him and took a deep breath. At this moment if they weren't on camera they would've kissed but they thought against it. 

The last question he asked was, point to the hottest friend. Jen and David looked at each other and pointed at each other straight away. everyone else pointed at whoever they thought it was but Jen and David stayed fixated on each other, their eyes locked in a deep gaze. They zoned out and just continued staring into each others eyes. Jen dropped her hand so it was now resting on David's leg, feeling this David subconsciously laid his hand on hers and held it gently in his. Everyone was staring at them in silence, including James who was in shock. He knew they were close but not even REALLLY close friends look at each other that way. He cleared his throat which made them snap out of it David let go of Jens hand and she shuffled a bit in her seat looking over at Cleo and Andrea again who were now laughing at them.

James finished off the interview quickly thanking them all for doing the interview. When the cameras stopped recording he asked Jen and David what just happened and they told him that they were together now. He was so happy for them and congratulated them. Then Aleen came over and chatted to James she got him to take that bit out of the interview so that they could keep it secret for a while. So his editors cut it out but they left the bit of them hugging in which made everybody freak out. This made it very hard for them to keep their relationship under the radar but somehow they managed it.

The rest of the day they were attached to each other and James still couldn't get over the fact that they were actually together. Towards the end of the last day they were about to do an interview with him and they were all sat in Monica and Rachel's apartment talking. Jen was sat cuddled up on David's knee with Cleo beside them cuddled into the other side of him. James walked in to tell them that it was time to go do the interview. They left Cleo with Andrea, Kristin, Amanda and Aleen who went and sat in the audience. Jen and David walked backstage together, Jen clinging on to David's arm. When James was opening the interview David gave Jen a big hug and kissed her on the forehead to calm her nerves. James called their names and Courteney came and dragged Jen by the hand away from David. As they walked out Jen turned back to look at him and he gave her a little smile as if to say, I'm right here don't worry. She smiled back as Courteney pulled her forwards gently up on to the stage. She wanted to find some way of ending up sat next to David but she didn't so throughout the whole interview she kept staring at him longingly and he too kept looking at her.

James asked them at one point if there was any off screen romances to which Jen replied "Umm well I- David" giving him the option to either tell the world or to keep it secret. He decided secret was best and said that in the first few seasons they had major crushed on each other but didn't include anything about the last couple of days where they had been constantly attached at the hip. She could see Andrea, Amanda, Kristin and Aleen grinning at her from their seats.

After the interview as soon as they got inside and out of sight of the audience Jen walked over to David and hugged him tight, wrapping her arms around his neck. He put his hands around her waist and kissed her. Andrea walked up with her phone and took a bunch of pictures of them to add to the huge collection they had built up over the last few days. They pulled apart so they were just hugging

Jen: You better not post those, can you send them to me though

Andrea: Why can't I post themmmm.

Jen: Because we we want to keep it secret for now.

Andrea: Fine, I'll send them to you now

Jen: Thank you

They spent the rest of the night taking photos, drinking and laughing, before going back to Jen's house to have dinner and have a party.
