"How do you know Tomura Shigaraki?"
After she heard his name, her eyebrows jumped while a grin crept across her face.
"Tomura Shigaraki?" A chuckle depleted into a long sigh. "Never met him." She stated gruffly. She laid her head down against the cold metal table, resembling a bored student in class.
The detective shook his head, displeased. "We know you have connections with him. There is no denying it. Countless security camera footage of you and him together at some of Japan's largest crime scenes. How do you explain that if you don't know him?" He implored. She replied by shifting her weight slightly but remained uninterested. Her lack of participation lit a fire beneath him. "We also have countless witnesses who say they have seen you at his side, dare I say at his beck and call." His voice raised into a yell.
Her only response was a deep, relaxed exhale.
The detective's expression twisted into unhinged anger. "You murdered countless people with him! We have the proof! Do you not care about what you have done? Are you without a soul?!" He hollered, slamming his palms onto the metal table.
The girl didn't flinch.
The quiet partner stood up from his chair in the corner and shuffled over to the detective, where he whispered something unintelligible into his ear. The detective shot him a glare but reluctantly stomped to the door, yanked it open, and left the room. The quiet one glimpsed at the girl. "Give us a moment." He smiled and disappeared out the door, following his partner.
The girl welcomed another long stretch in silence, followed by a low chuckle. "Yeah, my truth."
The door swung open, and both the men reentered the interrogation room. This time, the quiet partner took the reins while the loud one sat in the corner like a child in time out. The girl saw through their pitiful display.
"Listen Sena, what my partner says is right; you know that. We do have some evidence and witness testimonies. We just need your side of the story to understand what went down. Okay? The more you cooperate, the quicker you're outta here." He took a deep, calming breath. "Look, I'll make it easy for you, and we can take it slow. Let's just start with how you met him. How did you meet Tomura Shigaraki?"
Sena sighed deeply before lifting her head, and her dark brown eyes glared straight into his. "I was made for him."
