Songs For This Chapter: Lana Del Rey - Off To The Races/ Arctic Monkeys - Do I Wanna Know?

-Shigaraki-

There she was.

Breathless. The want to reach out to her, call to her, pull her back into his arms and forget it all. Let the anger fester and slip away, overpowered by the sensational gratitude that, in the end, it all worked out. Show the tears and show the joy; feel it all reawakened when his gaze met her red eyes that now matched his as if he were looking into a mirror. And as he trembles, he thinks this moment was meant to happen. A blissful reunion.

No. I can't do that, He thought.

He wouldn't give her the satisfaction of his emotion, his effort, his response, for he deemed she didn't deserve it at that critical moment. She had reaped bliss by stealing his as well as his focus, and where did that lead? The most glorious of offers to escape the wretched society trampled under her pretty foot as if it meant nothing. What else?

His master, gone.

So send her away to a job so meaningless that the only meaning is to get her out of his sight, for if she would have stayed within it a second longer, perhaps he would've broken, and break he did. The moment he was alone, he was collapsing into the powdery concrete wall, gritting his teeth and scratching his neck. Anything to keep the tears and the dreaded emotions at bay, but for how long? She would return before midday, and what then?

What then?

-Sena(y/n)-

"Attention, passengers! Thank you for flying with Red Airlines. We'll be coming down the aisles with refreshments shortly." Twice proclaimed, watching the world below pass by like a current of water. "Shut your kid's mouth, and stay in your seat, lady!" He shouted, his voice dropping an octave. "I hate customer service."

"I hate walking!" Toga cried out joyfully as she spread her arms like wings, allowing the wind to swirl beneath her clothes, filling them like balloons. "This is amazing. I'm never taking Kurogiri's portals again!"

"But wouldn't it of been faster for him to teleport us, then for us to be seen, then teleport us back?" Twice questioned.

Toga shrugged, "I'll be seen at a restaurant; thank you very much!"

"Oh, me too, me too! Table for two?" He offered, shaping a heart with his fingers.

"No, silly! Handyman wanted us to be seen separately so the police don't know the league is together!" She lectured him before grinning. "Thank you, though."

"No problem!" He shifted. "I'm thankful for your presence."

"Least someone is." Toga replied.

When only the wind responded, Toga looked up over her shoulder. While she and Twice reveled in their newfound freedom in the black sky, Sena's downcast eyes were as uninterpretable as the clouds, as if they were unable to see the grand world beneath them.

"Hey," Toga waved her hand.

Sena blinked, refocusing. "Hm?"

"What? You're bored of us already?" Toga questioned crudely, rolling her eyes.

Sena shook away her expression. "Come on, don't be like that."

"Oh, since I don't have blue hair and wrinkles, I'm not allowed to be mad?" She retorted, crossing her arms to the wind's embrace.

"That's not what I- "

"-Meant? Yeah, you never say anything you mean. Like when you said I was your best friend." She snipped, pinching at Sena's core.
