The week inched through slowly, each morning beginning with a run and ending with Adora and her laptop, studying late into the nights with Bow as Glimmer fell asleep. The sparkly girl was prone to neglecting her other subjects and focussing purely on Art.
Adora returned to her dorm with the phone buzzing, an incoming call from Shadow Weaver. Adora pulled her hair tie out and slumped over on her desk, glancing over to see if Glimmer had come back yet. She hadn't.
"How's the week been Adora?"
"Good. I'm doing well in all my classes, my teachers are impressed."
Shadow Weaver was silent on the other end.
"It's important you don't become...complacent, Adora."
Adora refrained from rolling her eyes, she was never complacent.
"Yes Shadow Weaver...Mom," she corrected.
"I noticed your outing, you've seemed to create quite a storm around yourself."
Adora didn't know what she was talking about, but at least Shadow Weaver didn't sound angry.
"A storm around myself?"
"Look up 'Angella Brightmoon,' and you'll figure it out."
Adora briefly paused the call to search up the name, finding multiple articles and pictures pop up. Being in her own little school bubble, Adora completely forgot to ask Glimmer about the paparazzi, and if they wrote up anything weird about them. She scrolled through the most popular articles, several of them trending on social media.
Angella's new take on parenting will blow your mind!

Double Trouble Tells All: An exclusive.
Adora paused at the last article, intrigued. She didn't see Double Trouble take an interview or say anything, how could they find out anything interesting from them. Clicking on the interview, Adora scrolled down.
Meet Double Trouble, a potential star that will grab your attention. After meeting with Huntara, the notorious head chef from "The Crimson Waste," we got to connect with and chat with the sensation. A sixteen year old attending the exclusive boarding school (founded and owned by Angella Brightmoon), Brightmoon Institution, here's what they had to say.
Reporter: Morning Double Trouble, I'm glad I was able to catch you despite your busy schedule.
Double Trouble (DT): I'm glad I could be here.
Reporter: So, let's get into it, shall we?
DT: Let's.
Reporter: Attending such a prestigious school must be mentally draining. How do you cope with constantly being around the children of celebrities and other influential people?
DT: I thrive in it, really. As an aspiring performer, it's really beneficial to be around people who have grown up in, or know someone in the industry.
Reporter: That's great! Is this why you were out to dinner with Angella and her family? Are you the next star of her upcoming project?
DT: I wish. No, I was invited out by Catra, one of my best connections at the school, and a friend since they day I started at Brightmoon.
Reporter: You're a close friend of Catra Brightmoon?
DT: One of my best allies.
Reporter: Interesting...Do you never feel overwhelmed, being around people who are so glamorous?
