Adora yawned, stretching her arms out to hit a face.
"Oh!"
Adora gasped as Glimmer yelped in pain, nearly rolling off the couch from the force of Adora's push.
"Glimmer! Were you watching me sleep?"
Adora accused the girl, who was rubbing her cheeks.
"No, I wanted to know what the fuck Catra is doing here! And in your bed too."
Adora narrowed her eyes at the sparkly girl, whose hair was messy and who still had her clothes on from last night on. She looked a right rumpled mess.
"She's not 'in my bed,' Glim, she's just sleeping there. And have you slept at all? You look....manic."
Manic was putting it lightly, if Adora was being frank.
"Okay, so maybe Bow and I drunkenly made out, but I remember barely anything and I feel too odd to ask him about it."
Adora screamed, but Glimmer quickly shushed her, covering her mouth with a palm.
"Oh my god. This happened, and it isn't the first thing you tell me?"
"Well I have absolutely no idea what happened last night, all I really remember is going in for it. I don't know, I'm scared we went further. I think I might've been knocked out for an hour, but I woke up here and I look over to tell you, but it's not you, it's Catra! I'm telling you Adora, the heart attack I almost had, I literally had a flashback to one of those awful 'family' holida-"
"Glimmer, calm down. I sent you a text about Catra last night, but I guess you weren't very active on your phone."
Glimmer blushed and Adora moved to get off of the couch and stretch. She tapped her phone, not surprised to see it was almost eleven. She must've ended up going to bed at like three.
"Ugh, my head hurts like a bitch."
Adora smirked, filling up two glasses of water. She grabbed some aspirin from the cupboard and handed it along with a glass to Glimmer, gulping greedily from her own. She had a headache, and she wasn't even drunk.
"Thanks."
Adora smiled, finishing her own glass and refilling it. She grabbed two more and filled them up, grabbing some aspirin for Bow and Catra. Glimmer groaned and lied down on the couch, probably about to go to sleep. Adora let her go, heading into Bow's room to put the glass on his bedside table. She eyed his neck nervously, spotting a hickey. Adora trotted back out, hoping for Glimmer's sake that they hadn't gone all the way. It'd be horrible if neither of them remembered it. Taking a deep breath as she approached her own room, Adora wondered if she should knock or not.
Well, it was her own room, and she was just planning on slipping in and putting the glass beside her bed.
But this was sober Catra, not drunk Catra. Two very different people.
Adora opened the door, trying not to overthink. She avoided looking at her, placing the glass down carefully with the pills.
"Adora?" Catra murmured sleepily, blinking her eyes slowly and squinting at her.
Well, shit.
"Uh, morning?"
Catra kept blinking at her, and Adora could visibly see the realizations and theories flicking in her eyes.
"Fuck. Oh shit,"
She sat up, but Adora winced at how fast it was. She quickly caught the back of Catra as she nearly collapsed back into the bed.
