The remainder of the day was fairly sedentary. Adora forced herself to crack through some equations for both Math and Chemistry, but let her practice essay slide for another day. She did still have two weeks, though that meant all her work had to be perfect.

"You started that Textiles project?" She asked Catra offhandedly when she came into the kitchen for some water. Adora could've studied in the library, but she preferred the circular dining table. Bow and Glimmer would come down every so often and force her to give herself a break. It was better than being trapped in an ambient, yet secluded library.

"Yeah, last night actually."

"What are you making?"

The project was to fuse a vintage art style with current trends. Adora still had no idea what she was going to do, but Catra seemed to have understood it pretty well. Then again, Catra was the best student, especially in Textiles.

"I'm making my Halloween costume, but I'm not telling Spinny that."

She took a long drink of her water as Adora wondered what costume she was planning on making.

"It's gonna be 80s, a bit retro."

"Ooh."

"But the cut is gonna be pretty similar to one of my dresses in my closet. Short, low-v, some statement boots, you know the drill."

Adora nodded, a flush of heat rising as she imagined a dress like that on Catra.

"I still have no idea what to do," Adora sighed into her Math homework with a glum face. Catra walked around the island and twisted her computer towards her.

"Hey, what are you-"

She spun it back, showing an image of a war like figure, holding a sword. The picture was scraped through a vase rather than being of an actual person, but Adora was still fascinated by it.

"That's She-Ra."

Adora felt the name was vaguely familiar before remembering it was Bow's dads that told her it, sometime a few weeks ago.

"Her civilian name was Adora, so, it would be pretty fitting."

Adora looked at the image in thought. It was pretty archaic, the figure wore old plates of armor fashioned into a skirt and a headband.

"Just find a way to make it relevant, add some spice."

Spice, yeah, she could do that.

"Thanks, that actually helped a lot."

Catra shrugged her words off, sauntering back up to the stairs.

"Duh, I'm a genius." She called out before vanishing up to her room. Adora quickly wrote down some ideas before her creativity decided to dry up.

She tucked the note into her planner for further evaluation later in the week, glancing over at the window to see it was practically dark and she hadn't eaten anything. When she walked upstairs to find the others, she nearly walked right into Catra, who stood by the last of the steps.

"What did they do?"

She could tell by Catra's face that Glimmer and Bow were up to something. They had been acting odd the whole day, saying funny sentences before running off and giggling to each other like a couple of school kids.
