17. Sorry for that

Madhav stepped out of the room and hugged Nethra from behind. That helped her calm down her senses that startled because of the situation. She was still worried about how things would go when Rajesh reveals this to his parents. Definitely, that would create a fuss.

Madhav held her hands and raised her chin to make him look at her. The look in his eyes assured her about managing things together. They now still have a month for the internship to end. They both didn't know how six months went by in a flash of a second.

Madhav and Nethra took leaves for two days and traveled to Banglore. They went to speak with Rajesh's parents and planned to try convincing them which is a big task. They found his house through her parents lying to them about wanting to know about the curiousity to know about their whereabouts.

She ring the bell and waited for someone to open the door. Within minutes, Rajesh's mom opened the door and her face revealed how she shocked she was with Nethra and Madhav's sudden appearance at the door. Soon, the shock turned to anger as her face flared with emotions that she cheated them and broke their trust.

But she was a nice person and she couldn't let them stand for a long time before the entrance. So, she hesitantly said, "Get in."

She moved to the sofa and asked their housemaid, Radha to bring them two cups of coffee. Despite her differences, she never treats anyone badly. And that attitude made Nethra feel guilty more than she felt initially.

With guilt struck to her face, she went near his mother. She spoke, "Aunty, I didn't wish for this to happen. I'm really sorry for hurting you. I don't know Madhav before this internship. It ...it just happened. Sometimes, feelings arise within us without thinking about the future. I'm really sorry, aunty."

She also explained the reason why they happened to stay in the same house and the lie they had to spell because of the house owner. Rakesh's mother felt the truth in the way she spoke with her. Despite her effort to stay stubborn and ignore her reasons, she couldn't help but agree with her. Because Rakesh's parents were married after loving each other. They knew the struggle they faced after they made the choice to marry despite the disapproval of their parents in young age.

That's when Rakesh stepped inside the house to get a document which he left in his room this morning. As soon as he saw Madhav and Nethra, his anger took control of him.

"What are you doing here? Do you think you can escape from the shameless act you've done. No, not at all. I wonder how your parents brought you up. Staying together with a stranger after getting engaged to someone says you're a.."

Before he could finish his words, a hand slapped him forcibly across his left cheek that left him in shock.
