I've fallen into Demon Slayer... So sorry for not updating for a while, but I have been busy.

FULL disclosure: Demon Slayer and its characters don't belong to me. My Demon Slayer AU takes place about ten years after the Final Battle with Muzan. The hashiras who had died during it, along with Giyuu (who died about four years after, again my AU), Sanemei (died seven years after, my AU also), Tsutako, Yuichiro, Sabito, Makomo, and Genya, all were reborn as humans. Mitsuri, Tsutako, Giyuu, and the Tokito twins are in an orphanage. Obanai is already at the Dojo where Irene and Colby are, along with Sanemei, Genya, Shinobu, Kanae, and others.

I'm also working on editing my photos, soo... they may be bad. ;w; I also am using Google translate for some words.

Enjoy~~

"RUN!"

A young girl with long black hair charged toward a small cluster of children as she screamed the one word, clutching a boy with black hair and blue eyes in a light blue haori in her arms.

Another girl, with green and pink hair, snatched up two smaller kids and began fleeing again, hearing the other female racing behind her.

As they all fled, several of the other children from the orphanage began falling behind, becoming victims to the demons that pursued them.

"Tsutako-Ane!" cried the small boy, watching with wide eyes as one monster followed them.

Gripping her baby brother tighter, Tsutako murmured, "I got you, Giyuu."

"Tsutako!" shouted the leading girl, one of the small boys she held beginning to slip. The other boy, wearing a white with black accents haori, tried to grab his twin only to slip slightly himself.

Tsutako quickly realized that they were heading toward a high stone cliff and called, "Stop up ahead, Mitsuri!"

Just as the wall arose before them, the two girls slid to a stop, placing down the three boys. The demon that had followed them also approached, hardly even winded like the two females due to the short chase.

"Finally giving up?" hissed the pursuer, baring sharp fangs that glistened in the moonlight. "Good," he/she continued, sniggering at Mitsuri's slightly defiant face, "I'll eat the blue one first."

At this, Tsutako knelt and gripped her brother to her, determined to at least be a small shield before the inevitable.

"Ane?" Giyuu asked quietly, his sister's hug (what he thought she was doing) being returned.

Mitsuri watched, standing in front of the twins, feeling as helpful as an empty and uncleanable jam jar. "Let go, girl." snarled the demon, beginning to advance toward the siblings. "Let go and let me eat."

Meanwhile

"Imouto," said a young boy with a box carefully painted with brilliant blue and white flowers on his back, slowing to a halt, "It's alright to come out now."
