Genshin Impact Headcanons

Recently, I've been playing a lot of Genshin, and my mind came up with many thoughts about what could be happening behind the (fictional) scenes.

Enjoy them, and cry over a few of them.

Qiqi often plays with animals when Baizhu takes her by the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor, and Hu Tao takes care of them when they are left behind. However, when one of the animals passes away, Hu Tao buries them with honor in a little plot that she dubbed 'Qiqi's area'.

Sucrose (if she were ever to meet Shenhe) would make Shenhe Qixqun flower tea using her original tea recipe.

Kaeya suffers from alternating, recurring nightmares (one night would be Khaenri'ah's destruction, the next would be if Diluc died, and another would be the fight with Diluc) which make him shoot awake in a cold sweat. They get worse when a thunderstorm happens.

Because Diluc needs small lamp grass for his ascensions, Kaeya keeps a vase full of them in his bedroom to stave off the nightmares.

When a terrible nightmare happens, Kaeya will sneak to Dawn Winery to check on a sleeping Diluc. He doesn't know that Swan and the servants of Dawn Winery know what he is doing but don't deter him.

Yelan and Shenhe have a relationship like Xingqiu and Chongyun (Yelan likes teasing Shenhe).

Heizou fell in love with Kuki Shinobu when she first came to get Itto.

The Tsarista promised Childe (Tartaglia) to Zhongli in return for the Gnosis, and his agreement to restore Childe's sparkle was tacked on before the final battle.

Kaeya's mother (the queen of Khaenri'ah) took the curse off him. However, her transformation was quickened, making her have to hide away due to her uncontrollable aggression toward everyone but her son.

Sucrose found the mother and keeps her in a room (she is tied up due to her aggression) attached to her (Sucrose's) room until she can find a cure.

(This is a thought) Sucrose is the daughter of a Hydro Archon that died in the battle against Khaenri'ah.

Makoto (with Venti, and the Tsarista's help) saved Kaeya and took him to his father, Kaeya's grandfather later (oofed) her without the father's knowledge.

During the journey to Dawn Winery, Kaeya got so hungry that he ate a small lamp grass fruit, which made his teeth glow for two days.

Paimon is the Unknown Goddess's sister that was cast down and her powers sealed for wanting to help Khaenri'ah.

When Aether and Lumine's powers are fully restored, they can remove all the Karma Xiao gathered (if he dates one of them or is near them). However, Xiao can still gain Karma.

Kaeya's cloak is a gift from his advisor (Pierro, another person's headcanon) and his eyepatch is a relic from his mother's side of the family.

The day before the Destruction of Khaenri'ah was the Day of Prayer, where everyone gathered to pray for the present-day Archon's continued health, eternity, and other things.

Xingqiu carries twenty popsicles in a special bag and does a 'popsicle test' after every prank done to Chongyun. The more popsicles his Yunyun eats, the angrier he is.

Xingqiu accidentally called Shenhe 'Auntie' due to always hearing Chongyun call her Auntie while she still didn't trust Xingqiu. He turned Jueyun Chili red and hid his face in his book while Chongyun and Shenhe both had nosebleeds; Chongyun from the cuteness, Shenhe from happiness, acceptance, and cuteness.

Hu Tao and Yanfei live together.

Dottore is insecure about his facial scars.

Xiao will melt at head pats, especially from Zhongli, Lumine, or Aether. Xiao once bit Childe when he tried.

Keqiug gets Ganyu qixqun flowers for lunch breaks (and when she wants a date, but Ganyu doesn't quite catch on)

Ningguang did catch a full-on fish once for Beidou, much to the captain's horror. She decided after Beidou made her take a bath, and made her PROMISE TO NOT DO IT AGAIN, that it was worth it.

Ningguang hit Zhongli when she found out he is Rex Lapis and faked his death.

Hu Tao is able to hold Childe down, and can just barely hold Xiao.

Elves can get markings that boost their magic (or in Klee's case, her Pyro abilities) by 5%.

Diluc got very protective of Kaeya after the final battle was over. (May make a story of this in a new book...)

Barbara can lift a claymore, if she has enough adrenaline flowing through her.

If a person uses a weapon of someone with different visions (i.e. Imagine Kaeya doing Diluc's burst with Diluc's claymore, or Ningguang using Beidou's), the two visions merge and does the corresponding reaction. (For example, Diluc's burst turns into an ice version of a phoenix when Kaeya does it)

Fischl did meet Yoimiya, who had a fun time finding how to make a firework to commemorate their new friendship. They became penpals (*cough* I think maybe more? *Cough*) and Yoimiya sends fireworks when Fischl brings up that a Mondstadt festival is coming up. They both have a copy of the firework order.

Zhongli calls Fischl 'the electro princess' which makes her beam in happiness and almost break character.

Kaeya's covered eye can see ghosts, but because it's always covered, he can't use it as his parents worried that he would be swarmed by their subjects to see if any ghosts were with them.

Crepus was a ghost floating around and screeching at Diluc about being cruel to Kaeya. He left shortly after the battle against Celestia.

The people of Khaenri'ah that lived, after the curse was removed, were implemented into the seven nations of Teyvat and are learning the languages.
