I pace around the room, it's 8 pm, and still nothing. The dark lord created a mass break out at Azkaban. Lucius isn't home so I'm assuming he's been caught, again.
That man is just one big disaster, although I do truly love him. He's the definition of when love and hate collide.
However, I'm angry at him for getting caught at the ministry, as a result, the summer was pure torture. Draco is now a death eater and has been given the task to kill Dumbledore. He's just a boy and had to grow up very quickly to save the Malfoy name and repay the dark lord for the mess his father created.
If anything happens to Draco I can never forgive Lucius for this, he knew damn well I wanted our son to have no part in what's upcoming, and look what happened.
"Y/N?"
I stop pacing and turn to see Lucius is stood in the doorway closing the door behind him
I walk over and slap him as hard as I can across his face
"I deserved that"
"Yes! You did! YOU'RE SUCH AN IDIOT. HOW COULD YOU? DRACO IS ONE OF THEM NOW CAUSE OF YOU!"
Y/N calm down"
"CALM DOWN? YOU'RE TELLING ME TO CALM DOWN? I HAD TO HAVE HIM STAY IN OUR HOUSE BECAUSE YOU MESSED UP. OUR ONLY CHILD HAD TO ENDURE THE TORTURE OF GETTING THE MARK CAUSE OF YOU! NOW HE HAS TO MURDER HIS HEADMASTER. YET AGAIN BECAUSE OF YOU!"
"Look I'm sorry ok, I know I messed up. We knew Draco was going to have to get the mark at some point"
"The mark I could deal with and eventually get over, but making him murder someone! This is different and worse, he will be traumatized for life"
"I tried to persuade the dark lord to change it. He won't budge"
"I had to go begging to Severus. I had to even do the unbreakable vow"
"YOU DID WHAT!" He yells coming over and backing me against the dresser
"I had no choice!"
He glares at me but sighs as he places his hand on the side of my face "I'm sorry Y/N"
"He's our Son Lucius, our boy"
"I know darling and I'm sorry, I will keep trying to persuade the dark lord"
I look in his eyes knowing he's telling the truth and I cave in hugging him tightly.
"I promise it's going to be ok, I won't let anything happen to Draco"
"How can you be so sure? You've lost the trust of the dark lord"
"I know but I will not let any harm come to our Son, I promise"
"When push comes to shove you will walk away from it all?"
"I know what you're getting at Y/N, we can't do that before the war."
"During?"
"Fine, many others will no doubt flea the sceen too. Can't beleive I'm here hoping for a bloody Gryffindor to save the day. A Potter too"
I roll my eyes and walk into the bathroom to brush my teeth before bed. "Not a word about this, also not a word about me being back here. I did afterall escape"
"Yes I know my husband has been a bloody Slytherin and escaped from Azkaban with many other crazy Slytherins"
"Don't let Bellatrix hear you call her crazy" Lucus chuckles from the bedroom
Bellatrix is crazy, but when push comes to shove I will in fact be more crazy than her. Protecting your family makes you change a lot.
