Y/N and Regulus was the next Slytherin popular couple after Lucius and Narcissa. However Y/N was like Narcissa not wanting to follow the crowd and get branded with the dark mark.
Regulus however became obsessed especially in recent months. His dormitory and bedroom at home would be full of news clippings and anything related to the dark lord. It was obsessive and scary.
It was currently a sunny day and I was on my way to Grimmuald place with my parents.
"Y/N good to see you again"
"You too Mrs Black. You seem upset if you don't mind me saying" I frown pulling away from her hug
"It's that bloody son of mine. He ignored myself and his father"
I feel my heart drop at the words "he did it?"
"Yes"
I rush upstairs and enter the bedroom without even knocking finding Regulus in the process of sticking another article on the wall.
"Y/N you're here! I have missed you"
"Don't lie to me! You haven't missed me at all because if you missed me you would've listened to your parents!"
"She told you then" he sighs dropping the article onto his desk
I walk over and grab his arm rolling his sleeve up revealing the mark on his arm. The jet black ink seeming more darker against his pale white arm.
"We all told you! You can be a follower without the mark! You are not privileged to have this mark! He doesn't care"
"You don't know him!" He defends pulling his arm away and covering the mark
"Your first mission will be to kill Sirius, is that what you want?"
"Don't be so daft, I will be given a different mission"
"No you won't. I can't believe you've done this I'm so disappointed and disgusted in you"
"Y/N don't say that. You follow him"
"My family and yours follow him without the mark. You had to one up everyone though didn't you? You had to go and get attention and get branded!" I shout at him before I take a few steps back "I wasn't going to even follow them, my parents got a second home in the muggle world where I was going to hide out until this whole war blows over"
