"Here's Luna, that must be her father" I comment to Harry as the dreamy girl approaches our table with male following her, who looks very similar to her. In fact he looks more similar to her than she made him out to be.
"Hello Harry, Hello Y/N"
"Hi Luna" we both smile "is this your father?" I add on
"Yes"
"Nice to meet you Mr Lovegood, I'm Y/N Y/L/N" I smile
"Thank you, pleasure to meet you too"
"You look smart" Luna comments admiring Harry's robes "I did tell Daddy most people would probably wear dress robes, but he believes you ought to wear sun colors to a wedding, for luck, you know."
"I'd say luck also for what's about to come in the near future too. You should wear yellow more often Luna it suits you"
"Thank you Y/N, I really must go and find father as he seems to have drifted off again"
"See you later" myself and Harry responds in sync.
"Here's Ron, who's that woman?" Harry asks
"I don't know, but I love her dress" I respond
Ron stops next to me, an elderly woman clutching his arm. Her hair is a bit wild, reminds me a little of Molly for some reason.
"...and your hair's much too long, Ronald, for a moment I thought you were Ginevra. Merlin's beard, what is Xenophilius Lovegood wearing? He looks like an omelet. And who are you?" she barked at Harry.
"Oh yeah, Auntie Muriel, this is our cousin Barny."
"Yeah Barny here has been with Charlie in Romania" I speak up quickly interrupting Harry.
"Hi" Harry smiles politely.
"A Weasley that doesn't have red hair? There is a god after all"
I let out a chuckle "I'm Y/N, I must say I really like your dress where did you get it from?"
"My closet"
"Ok, I think Mum is looking for you" Ron speaks up
She spots Molly in the distance and pushes Ron away before stalking off after Molly.
"Cousin?"
"She would go blabbing she met the famous Potter" Ron comments taking a seat next to me
"Could've given me a better name"
"It's the first thing that came to my mind"
"I think it suits you" I smile
"Who is that god awful rude woman talking to Molly?" Hermione asks appearing at our table
"Tessie" we all reply in sync
"Great aunt Tessie, as in Yule Ball robes Tessie?"
"Yes, however seeing that beautiful dress I don't get where on earth Ron got the impression he looked like her in those robes. Tessie is too stylish"
"Shut up Y/N"
"Least you got a better outfit tonight" Harry smirks
"Oh I like this song, come on" I smile standing up and dragging Ron with me.
"Her style is good, her attitude not so much. Plus she must be blind to think your hair is longer than Ginny. Bill on the other hand"
"I heard that" Bill speaks as he waltzes pass us with Fleur.
Ron tightens his grip on me causing me to look away from the newly weds and focus on him.
"I don't know what to do"
"What do you mean?"
"I know we agreed all 4 of us will go on this mission. But I don't want you to get hurt, yet if you stayed here I'd be worried I'm not with you to protect you"
"I'm going, this is for Harry he's going to need us. If I stayed I would go insane not knowing where you are"
"Promise me something then"
"Depends what it is"
"Once all of this is over you'll marry me"
"Well I can't promise that because you haven't asked it correctly" I smirk
"Y/N will you marry me?"
"Yes" I smile brightly and kiss him.
He pulls out a ring from his pocket and places it on my finger before hugging me.
We never got the chance to tell everyone, death eaters arrived causing us having to escape quickly. A few hours later we're at Grimmuald Place all sat by the fireplace to warm up. Hermione noticed the ring and we managed to celebrate before letting the depressing atmosphere take over.
We don't even know how long it's going to take us, all we know is it's going to be challenging and risky. But it's a risk we're willing to take and now with the news of the engagement we agreed that when things get tough we will focus on the wedding planning to relax us and clear our minds from the mission before starting again.
Voldemort won't win this and we're not going to let him take away happiness.any of our happiness in the process. Staying positive is the one thing to help us defeat him so it's important we do just that. Stay positive.
