Oh my god, last ever chapter of 2021, I hope it's not bad. Less than an hour until 2022 and I'm here tryna upload this before it's the next year...lols

I grabbed my chain bag and stuffed some money, my phone, and a sanitary napkin (just in case). I quickly laced up my shoes and untied my hair from its messy ponytail.

Ryan was waiting, and when I came downstairs he opened the door so we walked out. I quickly texted in the group I'd be there in twenty minutes, before looking up to see Ryan sitting on a heavy gear motorbike. It had blue strikes on the front and sides and it was huge compared to the motorbikes I've seen.

"Wait what, we're going on this!?" I asked in shock.

"Yes, we're going on this." He said pointing out, how I referred to his bike.

"B- but, I..." I was speechless, yet again.

Two things bothered me in this situation. One, I hate bikes, any kind! Cycles, motorbikes, scooters, and anything that moved on two wheels. I'd rather walk for hours than have to sit on an unbalanced vehicle that has a high chance of making me lose a leg or fracture an arm.

Two, I for some reason always had in mind Carly liked Ryan, whenever I was around him. If I came on a motorbike with Ryan to meet with them it would look worse than going in his non-existing car. It's not like I'm hiding something, but it'll just look bad, and I want everyone, and especially Carly to trust me.

Oh now that we talk about trust, it reminds me Ally knows about my step-family, I've definitely lost her trust, and it's not even been that long since I've known her. Has she told anyone else? I really hope not.

"Bella?" Ryan said pulling me out of my thoughts.

"Uh yeah?" I asked as if waking up from a dream.

"Get on." He said with a serious look, I sucked on the inside of my cheek.

"I- I can't, my mom can drop me in a while anyway, why don't you go pick up Alice from the mall?" I asked.

"Bella." He said again, now getting off the huge bike and standing in front of me, putting the helmet on the seat.

"Are you scared of sitting on a bike?" He asked his voice full of concern.

No, I'm scared of wanting to kiss you! I'm being sarcastic by the way.

I chewed on my lip absent-mindedly, hesitating to say anything. His gaze slowly fell to my lip before quickly looking up.

"Don't do that." He lightly growled before brushing his hair back with his fingers sighing. "Okay, look I know you're scared, but trust me I know how to use a motorbike, you'll be fine." He said looking at me seriously. I stayed quiet looking at the tires of the bike then the seat, it definitely did not look safe.

"Come on." He said and gave me the helmet, I hesitantly took it then wore it. I saw how he only had one and gave it to me to wear. If this was any other occasion I would've said 'how kind of him' but it's not, so I hate him for forcing me onto this bike!

He sat down on the bike, then looked at me, I slowly neared the seat behind him and put one leg over the other side still balancing on the other leg. I slowly put my weight onto the seat and Ryan patiently waited for me to get more comfortable with the seating.

"Okay now just put your foot on here," Ryan said, and I slowly lifted my foot from the ground to the footing area.

"You okay?" He asked softly.

"Uh not really," I said looking at the distance between the ground and my foot, he laughed lightly.

"You'll be fine, just hold onto me." He said laughing.
