I tapped my foot on the wooden floor as I waited for Cameron's shower to finish. Stephan had practice in the morning today so he had gone to school early, but I was getting late now. And as in late, I meant TWENTY FREAKING MINUTES!

"Cameron, I swear if you don't come down in a second, I'm going to try and drive the car to school myself!" I shouted up the stairs.

I got a notification on my phone and opened it for the sake of having something to distract me.

Jessy: where tf r u? I cant stop Ms. Dale forever.

Lily: Yeah, she's saying we might have to leave u

Ally: stfu no one is leaving u! We need to be on vacation tgh, So tell Cam to hurry his ass!!!

Bella: I'll tell him, but he's not out the shower yet!

Ally: We ain't leaving until u get here!

Cameron finally skipped down the stairs while putting on his shirt. He grabbed his backpack and tied his shoelaces.

"Ally told you to hurry your ass." I said plainly.

"I'm trying." He puffed before grabbing the car keys and locking the door behind us. We sat in the car and my nerves increased a notch, as to what if they really left. I'd been sure they had fifteen minutes ago, but my friends told me they'd do something. So hopefully I'd get there before they left, and there was no point in going right now in the first place.

Ally: Girl hurry up cuz I cant keep them waiting this long. Unless u want me to create girl drama.

Bella: B there in five!

Ally: 👌

"Cam step it up!" I said nervously.

"Okay, you're forgetting this is a car not a jet." He mumbled.

After a few minutes I'd gotten at school, and now was forty minutes late. I ran to the bus waving a bye in Cameron's direction before I hopped into the bus.

"She's here!" Ally shouted.

"Okay, so forget it Holly. Gracie didn't say anything about your hair." Ally said carelessly before flaunting her way towards me.

"Ms. Myers, this is clearly unfair to everyone else on this bus, and even though I know you told your friends to stall us, you should know it is unacceptable to be so late. But since we are going on holiday, I'm going to let this slide." She said, I gave her a tight smile and nod.

Ms. Dale walked to the front and sat in her seat. I looked around where to sit (since Ally was sitting next to Jessy and Carly next to Lily) and there were two seats in the second back row. I didn't like sitting so far away from my friends, but at least I had the entire two seats to myself.

"Alright, let's get this vacation started!" Ms. Dale shouted, before everyone cheered, or well most people did.

An hour had gone by and we were still on the road. It was pretty boring honestly, people were either talking or had headphones on. I'd had mine on, and since I didn't have anyone to talk to I didn't have a choice either. At first it wasn't that bad, the music was good, and the view was interesting.

Schools, kids, people, busying and running everywhere. Until we left the main city and now all there was to look at was a bunch of grassland and grey road.
