Summary: As you and Leigh-Anne's 8 year old daughter Alaina continues to get bullied for her skin colour and fears heading to school everyday, you remind her of her worth and how much you and your wife adore her.
⚠️Contains extreme racism⚠️Y/N's POV: As we pull up to school, my daughter begins to whine which isn't normal, she loves going to school and loves learning new things, then I look at her through the rear view mirror, she's just staring out the window emotionless.
"You alright, sweetie?" I inquire, furrowing my eyebrows together. "Normally, you're out the car once I stop, all joyful and pleased to be at school. What's going on?"
"I don't want to go to school, daddy. Can we just go back home please?" She tells me, looking at me with teary eyes.
"What do you mean? You love school, don't you?" I ask, chuckling but then notice, a few tears rolling down her cheek.
"I want mummy..." She tells me, wiping her eyes before the tears begin to fall uncontrollably. I get out of the car, heading to her door and kneeling down next to it.
"Honey, what's going on?" I inquire, worriedly, holding her hand. "Tell daddy what's going on, princess.""There's a group of girls whom always exclude me from everything, saying that they don't wanna be friends with somebody who's darker skinned. They've got some other kids to call me the names that I've heard other people call mummy that are rude." She admits, wiping her eyes. Are these kids bloody serious? They are being fucking ridiculous, discriminating my daughter because of her skin colour and her race and furthermore, who teaches their children these derogatory terms against darker skinned people!?! I am absolutely pissed the hell off and I'm not making my baby girl go to school.
"Princess, don't listen to what they say... You are absolute perfection in me and mummy's eyes. You are beautiful and incredible to us. These people obviously need to teach their children how to treat others properly." I tell her, making her sniffle. "I'm sorry that you have to go through this, I'm gonna take you home and mummy will look after you as I return here and give that damn headmaster a piece of my mind."
A few minutes later: I return to this school with extreme rage against the kids of this school. I enter the main office, balling up my fists.
"I want to see the headmaster, immediately." I tell the receptionist and she just sits there and shakes her head.
"I'm sorry, Mr. Y/L/N but he is currently running a assembly but you are free to wait for him." She tells me, typing on her keyboard. I just accept it and sit at the waiting room, just waiting for that damn head to return.1 hour later: Okay, this is getting silly. How long is this bloody assembly going on for? I am getting quite impatient, waiting for this prick.
Then I begin to hear laughing coming from down the hall and he appears, drinking a cup of coffee.
"Ah, hello, Mr. Y/L/N! Where is Alaina this morning, her teacher said that she wasn't present?" The headmaster Mr. Westgate inquires, completely oblivious. I stand up and just respond "That's why I'm here to talk to you about the reason that my little girl isn't at school."He invites me into his office, a bit weary about why I'm here.
"How can I help you today, sir? Please have a seat." He asks, offering me to sit down opposite him. I take a seat and look him dead in the eyes.
"This morning before school started, I was dropping my daughter off when I found out that a group of children in her year have been racially discriminating her by excluding her and calling her extremely derogatory names." I respond, biting my tounge."Oh, that's dreadful to hear! Can you tell me who these children are?" He asks, pulling out a clipboard. I shake my head, grimancing at him.
"This school is predominantly white with other races sprawled everywhere and this area isn't the best when it comes to equality." He explains, making me want to rip his oesophagus out of his throat. "If I don't have names on these children, I really cannot help your daughter."
