(Somebody requested a Perrie version so here you go! If you have any requests, put them in the comments, I'll do basically anything!)

Summary: As Y/N asks Perrie's father for his blessing to marry his daughter, he is expecting a more positive response but when her father rejects the offer and demands that Y/N leaves immediately, he is persistent that he will marry Perrie.

Y/N's POV: Today marks the day that I'm finally going to ask my beloved girlfriend's father for his blessing for me to marry his daughter. I'm not going to lie, I am quite nervous about his response because it's either gonna be a yes or a no with the latter being more likely.

Her dad has never really liked me if I'm being honest, so I won't genuinely be surprised if he rejects me as his future son-in-law. In his eyes, I am the worst  in terms of suitable boyfriend for Perrie but she heavily disagrees. I will admit that I've not always been a ideal boy but I'm trying my best to improve not only my reputation but also my damaged relationship with him.

"This is going to be absolutely awful" I groan as Jordan pulls up to Perrie's parents's home "How did I agree to this exactly?" I have been best mates with my girlfriends bandmates's current boyfriends Andre and Jordan for years now and we always just hang out whenever our girls are busy with their careers.
"Mate, think about it. Despite if the guy doesn't automatically gives you a positive response to your question, then fuck him, marry Perrie if you want to." Andre tells me, I chuckle at his response.
"You obviously have never met her dad then, mate. That sonofabitch is low-key overprotective of her." I respond, scoffing. "He'd rip my head clean off my shoulders if I even hurt her. I'm pretty sure he hates my guts to death"

Perrie's POV: I notice my boyfriend's car outside the house, this could be awkward though.
"Not him again, what did I tell you about hanging around with them hooligans, Perrie?!" My father exclaims, visibly frustrated at his arrival. "I'm gonna knock that little bastard out in a second." Yeah, let's just say that my boyfriend and my father have never been on good terms, at least from both of their expressions when near each other. Y/N rings the doorbell and I can just see Dad bite his tounge.
"Dad, please don't hurt him, I'm begging you." I plead with my dad but he just scoffs and heads to the door.

Y/N's POV: The front door opens up and I just see a enfuriated man standing opposite me dressed in a shirt and tie.
"Hello, Mr. Edwards... I know you and me have never been on good terms but I need to ask you something." I tell him, sheepishly looking at the floor.
"What is it?" He looks at me, sighing.
"Can I have your daughter for the rest of my life? I promise to treat her like royalty and always be there for her whenever she needs me to." I continue, finally looking him in the eyes.

"You are genuinely pathetic, you know that?" He exclaims, laughing in a mocking way. "You come to me and ask for my permission to marry my little girl? You must be kidding me!"
"Please, sir. I'll do anything for her, I love her more than anything and I don't want anything else except her!" I practically beg on my knees, almost at tears.
"Dad, please!" My girlfriend tells her father. "I love him!"

"Not a chance in hell, now get out of my sight and fucking stay away from my daughter!" The miserable old git erupts, essentially shoving me off the property. "Get out of here before I call the police, you scumbag!" I stand up and grimance at him.
"I couldn't give a shit about what you say, Mr. Edwards." I tell him in a cocky manner as I back away from the house. "Me and your daughter will get married no matter what you say, and there is absolutely nothing that your stupid ass can do about it!"
