Summary: Alex, Perrie and Ashton (Jade's twin brother) are in a very happy polyamorous relationship, Ashton is a transgender man but the media doesn't seem to accept the legitmately of his transition and still think of him as a girl. Alex and Perrie are quite protective over him and stand up for him.

Nobody's POV
Everyone thought that Alex was simply straight but he kept his bisexuality a secret for years until he met his best friend turned boyfriend Ashton, a trans man.
Alex and Perrie had been a couple since their secondary school days, nobody even expected them to last after college but they defied the odds. Ashton, on the other hand, was apart of their best-friendship group in secondary school along with Jade, Leigh-Anne, Jordan and André.
Ashton came out as bisexual when he was just 12 years and then came out as trans when he was 16 years old. The friendship group were so supportive of him, immediately accepting his new name and pronouns, even standing up to his transphobic and homophobic parents when they were being horrible to him.
Ashton then moved away with the group to London where they all pursued their dreams.
Perrie, Leigh-Anne and Jade auditioning for the X-Factor and eventually became Little Mix
Alex and André becoming professional footballers and playing for Watford and Liverpool respectfully
And Ashton followed his dreams and became a successful full-time Twitch gaming streamer.
Throughout the years, the group continued to be the best of friends and moved out close by to one another as their lives continued to get better and better
Jade and Jordan got married!
Leigh-Anne and André got married!
Alex, Perrie and Ashton became a polyamorous couple!
But there were still those issues that none of them, especially Ashton, could avoid.

Ashton constantly sees the persistent news article with the use of the incorrect name and pronouns, which makes him even more dysphoric every single bloody time that one appears on his notifications.
Adrian's POV
I'm currently streaming Call Of Duty Warzone when another bloody news article pings onto my phone, my eye catches it and I sigh heavily.
Jasmine Thirlwall, who is she? Girlfriend? Boyfriend? Family?
"Another fucking news article with my bloody deadname has been posted..." I inform my viewers which causes loads of supportive comments to come through and I smile weakly at my chat before continuing my gameplay.
"I seriously don't understand why these assholes can't just use Ashton instead of that name! I've been known as Ashton since I was in secondary school so how the fuck they know my deadname is beyond me." I continue, sighing heavily again as my eyes refocus on my computer screen. "No matter what these bastards are saying online, I'm still gonna be Ashton Matthias Thirlwall regardless."
"Why would they even know your deadname, Ash?"
"I really wish I knew why they knew my dead name. It could be from somebody that knew me before coming out accidentally telling someone which spread or even the unsupportive members of my family revealing it to the public."
"Even if they call you the wrong name, you know that you're always going to be Ashton to us!"
"Thank you, honestly starting this streaming account has really helped me as I always loved video games when I was younger, the classic video game themes were all that came from my bedroom growing up."
My smile grows wider as I continue to read the lovely comments that I get sent before I eventually end the stream not long afterwards before heavily sighing once again like it has turned into a tic.
"Baby, have you done with your stream?" I hear my girlfriend ask me through my gaming room door as I'm switching my computer off.
"Yeah, love!" I respond before Perrie wanders through the door and wraps her arms around my shoulders, kissing the back of my head.
Perrie and Alex choose not to come into the room when I'm streaming, not because they don't want to be on camera but because they don't want to take all the attention away from me during the streams.
"Me and Alex were gonna cuddle and watch a film if you wanted to come downstairs?" My girlfriend suggests, kissing my temple and massaging my shoulders.
"Could I talk to you and Alex about something before we do?" I inquire and she nods, wandering out of the room.
I walk into our shared bedroom and await my boyfriend and girlfriend to wander into the room, I pull up the news article that appeared on my phone earlier as both of them walk into the room and sit down on the bed.
"What's going on, love?" Alex asks, kissing my temple.
"I was streaming earlier and this appeared on my phone." I tell them, handing them my phone and showing them the article.
They both thoroughly read through it, taking in every word, the article was quite rude if I'm being honest.
"Okay but this is really rude, deadnaming and misgendering you and all." Perrie comments, biting her lip in discomfort.
"I think that we need to take action against the media." Alex exclaims, the growing rage filling his face. "The amount of dysphoria that this must give you every time that a article appears, babe."
"Why do they do it?" I rhetorically ask them both, lowering my head. "Have I done something wrong?"
"I don't know but what I do know is that no matter what these assholes write, you're always going to be Ashton to those whom truly love you." Alex tells me with a smile on his face. "People like me, Pez, Jade, André, your brother Karl, Leigh-Anne, Jordan and all of your fans on Twitch."
I smile at him before he grabs my hand and kisses it.
