Summary: Leigh-Anne, Perrie and Jade go out for dinner after a recording session and they agree to pay for the meal together. When they arrive there, Leigh-Anne spots a very good-looking waiter by the name of Y/N Y/L/N, the other two spot Leigh-Anne staring at the waiter and teases her before convincing her to ask them out which she eventually does...

Leigh-Anne's POV-
"Alright, I am absolutely shattered after singing all that..." Perrie complains after we pack up after our recording session for our newest album which is going amazing!
"How does going out for dinner together sound? Jordan recently told me about a great dinner place just down the road that he went with Harley to, a couple years ago." Jade offers, hoisting her bag over her shoulder.
'I'm up for that, Alex is out with some of his teammates after his football match anyways so I got nothing else to do." Perrie agrees to the idea. "I'm starving after all that bloody singing."
"Sure thing, I'm starving as well." I agree to the idea so I drive us to the restaurant that Jade was telling us about with Jade giving off directions, we eventually arrive there and get our table.
But that's when I spot a waiter across the restaurant with a handsome face and smile but then he disappears out of view and then Perrie must have noticed my inattentiveness when she waves her hand in front of my face.
"Whom are you staring at now, Leigh?" She teases me, nudging my shoulder and looking where I'm looking before she spots the waiter from earlier. "Ah, I see now."
"Shut up, Perrie." I playfully elbow her side, grabbing the menu and reading through it when the aforementioned waiter begins to approach our table.
"Hello, ladies! I'm Y/N and I will be your waiter for tonight, can I get you started with some drinks?" I look up and see the they/them pronoun pin on their shirt so at least I know how to address them.
"Yes please, can we get some ice water please?" Jade asks them and they happily nod before walking back to the kitchen.
"They're a tall drink of water, don't you think?" I comment, looking back at Perrie and Jade who raises their eyebrows and smirk. "I'd like a sip of them..."
"Leigh-Anne, stop drooling over the waiter so quickly. You just met them..." Jade nonchalantly tells me, her eyes scanning through the menu.
"I do have to agree with Leigh, they aren't bad looking..." Perrie gazes at our waiter, Jade rolls her eyes at us. "There's no crime looking?"
"You don't even know if they are in a relationship or not, they could be into men and not women!" Jade complains, giving me the look that shuts me up.
"There's no need to be a party pooper, Jade Amelia Thirlwall!" Perrie playfully teases the brunette to which Jade finally softens up and smiles at both of us. "If you like them, you should subtlely flirt with them or even ask them for their number?"
"That is a good idea." I respond, turning my head to see Y/N returning with the drinks.
Y/N's POV-
I do not know what it's with this customer but it's like I can't keep my eyes off her, even though I have others to be attending at the moment.
I wish that I could freely just take a break and really get to know some of the customers because it's almost like I have an hour with them then they're gone for a long time until they (hopefully) return to the restaurant.
"Here are your drinks, ladies... Are you ready to order yet or do you need a few more minutes?" I politely ask them.
"We're ready to order!"
"Amazing!" I pull my notepad and pen out of my pocket. "What can I get you?"
"I'll get the curry with naan bread." The blonde-haired girl orders, smiling at me to which I scribble down onto my notepad.
"I'll have the chicken salad." The brunette-haired girl orders to which I write down her order onto my pad before turning to the darker-skinned girl.
"What do you recommend?" She asks me, her beautiful brown eyes meeting my (your eye colour) eyes.
"I really recommend the chef's special which is essentially chicken and stuffed peppers but I have heard that it is very delicious." I recommend and she nods, taking my opinion into her matter.
"I'll have that then..." She tells me, throwing an inconspicuous wink which just makes me smile before heading back off to the kitchen, my heart thrumming a million miles per second.
Leigh-Anne's POV-
I throw them a flirtatious wink and I can just tell that they got all flustered afterwards as I saw a deepened red tint in both of their cheeks as they scurried off.
"You definitely are a flirtatious minx, Leigh-Anne." Jade giggles at Y/N's embarrassed expression. "I can see it in their eyes, they were in love."
"Why don't you write something on a napkin and hand it to them when they come back over?" Perrie suggests, taking a sip of her water before pulling out a pen from the writing session a couple days ago so I write down:
"My apologies if I'm being forward but would you be interested in going out on a date soon?
Leigh-Anne x"
Perrie smiles at me as we wait for Y/N to return with our food which doesn't take too long.
"Here are your meals, is there anything else I can do for you ladies tonight?" Y/N inquires, carefully placing our meals on the table to which I gain the confidence to hand them the napkin.
They take the napkin and reads it before looking at me and nodding with a smile on their face.
"After you're finished, come and talk to me and we'll discuss the date, Leigh-Anne." They inform me, trying to shake off their obvious nervousness.
"Sounds great!"
They wander off before us three begin to eat out meals before we head out, Perrie and Jade heading out before me as I find Y/N cleaning another table.
"Hi Y/N!" I greet them and they turn their head to look at me and smile back. "So about this date... When are you free?"
"I'm off schedule tommorow? What about you?"
"I'm off tommorow as well, so how does 6pm sound? We could go bowling or just wander around the city?"
"That sounds absolutely perfect, let me get your number." They smoothly flirt, I write down my number and hand it to them. "Perfect, I'll be around then."
I head out of the restaurant with one of the biggest smiles on my face that I've ever felt in my life!
That was the start to my relationship with Y/N that resulted in marriage and raising a beautiful family together a couple years later and I would not change anything about any of it...
