Back at the Academy, The Brain is searching through some books. He sighs and tosses one on the desk. "There's nothing about this mist!" He says angrily. "There's always knowledge to be learned! I just can't find...it." He stops and looks at one of the numerous books scattered across his desk. "Unless..."
Mags, Cali, Hugo, Flynn, and Buzz watch as The Brain slams a book down on the table in front of them. "I found it!"
"You know how we can defeat the mist?!" Cali asks excitedly.
"Uh, well no. Not exactly." The Brain says dejectedly. "But, I do know how we can find out how to know how to beat it."
"What?" Flynn asks.
"The Ancient Arkeyan Atheneum," The Brain continues ignoring Flynn. "Is a great library created by the arkeyans that is said to contain all of the knowledge in Skylands. The Arkeyan Guardian of Knowledge is omnipotent..."
"Hey brain guy," Flynn interjects. "Hugo doesn't know what omnom-pity tent means."
Hugo gives Flynn a suffering look. "Omnipotent means all knowing. He would know everything that is happening in Skylands the moment it happens."
"Exactly," The Brain says. "This means he must know what the mist is and how we can defeat it."
Mags frowns at The Brain. "That's all well and dandy, but I'm sensing a big ol' but coming up."
The Brain looks down. "But... no one really knows where the atheneum is."
Buzz hobbles over to look at the book on the table. "Wait a dad gum minute! I know that symbol! Back in my ninja commando days I was on a secret mission to infiltrate the cyclops fortress in the rolling dunes. Heavily guarded and extremely deadly, I barely made it out alive! But, I did see that symbol on some sort of map they had displayed on a wall."
"That must be the map to the atheneum!" Hugo says excitedly.
"Boomsticks! Me and the Skylander can go infiltrate the fortress and get that map and we will be on our way to victory! You coming, Flynn?"
"Well I've never been one to say no to danger."
"Ah haha. I like that can do attitude!"
No one notices the misty form hiding around the corner watching them. It hurries and flies away.

The rolling dunes sprawl out across the horizon. The hot sun blazes in the sky creating heat waves across the sandy dunes. Atop a particularly large sand dune rests a large paradise. Palm trees and greenery decorate the grounds and cool pools of blue water flow around them. Lazy rivers meander from pool to pool, snaking around the luscious flora. At the center of the paradise rests a large white building, opulent with its stone pillars at the entrance. Red roofing sprouts out among the windows going four stories high where a large golden sign proclaims "Rolling Dunes Resort & Spa". Cyclops guests walk about the resort sipping pina coladas out of coconuts with little umbrellas sticking out of it. They lounge in beach chairs surrounding the pools and enjoy the sun.
Everything is peaceful.
"Well," Flynn remarks standing on the grand staircase leading up to the top of the sand dune while looking at all of the guests. "This is some danger I could get used to."
"I wouldn't if I were you," Buzz grimaces. "This must be some trap if I've ever seen one."
A tall cyclops in a well put together red suit and a monocle makes his way towards Flynn and Buzz. He stops and bows to them. "Hello and welcome," he says in a pompous nasally voice. "What name is your reservation under?"
