Brain flies rapidly around the Academy study, moving and tossing books and papers around. "Where is it?" He mutters. "Where is it!"

"Trying to find the rift key is useless, you know." A deep voice says from behind him.

Brain turns around. Leaning in the study's doorway is the full form of the Darkness. He gasps. "How did you get in here?"

"Oh, I'm not really here," the Darkness says. "The form you see is nothing more than a projection of myself, capable of fitting within this pocket dimension."

"Pocket dimension..." the Ancient mutters. His eye then widens. "Where did you put the key?!"

"I never moved it." The Darkness shifts into Brain's clone, joining him in his search. "Now, just where could you have put it before I trapped your precious Academy in this alternate reality?"

Brain looks visibly angry at this, holding up his two tentacles in a ready position. "Leave this place immediately."

His clone turns to look at him. "Or else what?"

"I will..." Brain begins, he pauses to look down at his tentacles, still empty. "How is this possible?"

The Darkness smiles. "The arcane in this place answers to me. All your attempts at using Mind Magic, including teleporting yourself out of here, will only increase my strength." They suddenly charge at him, shifting into Smag. "Out in the real Skylands, the color is practically racing into my Rift thanks to the King of Chaos."

Brain sidesteps them. They shift into Messa, fletch an arrow at him. "Your pathetic Shrink Squad is powerless to stop my return while you're in here!"

Brain crashes into the wall, pinned by their arrow. He forces out: "They will find a way to free me, just as the previous six Skylander teams have worked through their darkest hours!"

The Darkness slowly approaches him, morphing into Mistfin. "It'll be too late by then." They hit him across the head with their cane. "Skylands will soon fear and obey me, as it had when you Seven first let me in!"

Brain groans, the camera taking on his blurry vision. "May the other Ancients lead the Skylanders to me..."

Glumshanks and the Skylander have returned to the ship with the Trolly Shroud.

"It wasn't easy, but here it is." Glumshanks says proudly.

"Wow, so you're not completely useless after all." Kaos mutters, reaching into his robe and pulling out some gold coins. He held them out to Flynn who took them happily.

"Haha, I knew you could do it." Flynn says in a boastful way.

"You did well," Cali remarked as she took the shroud from him. She walked over to the mast and wrapped it around. She finished up and dusted her hands off. "That will have to do."

Buzz nods in agreement. "The Ancients willing, it should give us a path directly in."

"Then I suppose it's time we strike."

The Dreadyacht, holding Flynn and Cali, came upon the Ultimate Ultimate Weapon. A giant blue orb of energy surrounded it, pulsing with power.

Cali pulled out the farspeaker next to Flynn in the cockpit. "The field is in sight."

"Right, well good luck." Sharpfin replied back.

"You ready?" Cali asked Flynn.

"Oh, Cali," Flynn laughed. "I'm always ready."

He kicked the ship into high gear and they blasted towards the shield. "Here we go!" The Dreadyacht bursts through the blue aura and into air space surrounding the great rig.

"We did it!" Cali called through to the others. "The shroud worked!"

"Boomsticks!" Buzz's voice rang through the speaker. "Now we just...." The farspeaker cut to static noise.

"What happened to comms?" Cali asked.

"I dunno, maybe THAT!" Flynn pointed at the Ultimate Ultimate Weapon as dozens of sky ships soared out towards them.

"Skylander, get to the turret!" Cali calls.
