Chapter Gimmick: Trolltopia is a large city that you have to make your way through with their being multiple routes that you can take to get through to the palace. With this comes three different ways that you can break into the palace.
Their is the main path through the front gates. This path contains many enemies and has no element of surprise to it. It's essentially blow down the front doors and beat up the guards.
The second path is the Assassin's approach path. Going this route, you will go through the gardens and sneak into the second floor of the palace. Here you will be able to sneak down into Great Hall (mostly) undetected where you could choose to battle guards if you wish.
The third path is the Sewers path. There's an open sewer grate in the city that you can let yourself down into. You then travel through the sewer maze to emerge in the Royal bathroom just past the Great Hall. This allows you to bypass the horde of enemies guarding the path to the Trolly Shroud.
Chapter Design: Trolltopia is a large city that was intended to be a utopia for the trolls. Unfortunately, they are not very clean and sanitary, so the city has turned into a bit of a dump with dirty streets and even dirtier looking buildings. The palace is the only part of the city that is even remotely clean looking.
The city has a gray feel to it until you reach the palace. The gardens there are beautiful and green, just slightly mutated with a few monster plants. The sewers aren't much better. Filled with dangerous sludge and mutated trolls, it's a dark smelly place that the light never touches. Luckily some torches light the walls.
The palace is very ornate and is decorated with a lot of troll paraphernalia.
LEVEL START The Dreadyacht docks away from the city. The Skylander is seen exiting the ship with Glumshanks.
They make their way together towards the city walls. At the sight of Glumshanks they slowly open revealing the dirt covered city of Trolltopia.
The troll butler sighs. "Never thought I would prefer Kaos's Kastle to home. But this place gets filthier and filthier by the year. Anyhow, we should get going. That shroud isn't going to steal itself."
The level officially starts here.
You begin just inside the gates of Trolltopia (the bottom left of the map if you're using that for reference)
You start on this dirty street surrounded by buildings. There's a large one directly in front of you thats door is blocked by the Dark Elemental Gate.
You enter into a large dark themed troll bowling alley. The alleys have these bumpers that you have to activate to launch the large bowling balls forward. Once you've knocked over every pin, you unlock the area's hat.
Exiting back out onto the street, you head eastward down the road. You'll come upon a fork in the road, the northern path leading deeper into the city, the eastern one down to the first treasure chest of the level.
Heading deeper into the city, you find yet another fork in the road, (marked in yellow)
