Buzz and Mags watch from Sharpfin's ship as the Ultimate Ultimate Weapon begins to become more and more unstable.
"I don't like this," Buzz grumbles. "They should be outta there by now."
"Ah shoo, I'm sure their fine, old timer!" Mags exclaims. Just as she does, the Ultimate Ultimate Weapon collapses in on itself and explodes. Fire and smoke race throughout the sky as a shockwave hits their ship with the force of a freight train. They rock backwards as fiery debris rains from the sky.
Buzz looks on in horror as Mags helps him to his feet. "I know this is sad and all," she says. "But that was some incredibly ironic timing."
Buzz shifts his one eye to look up at the mechanic in shock at her comment.
"Oi!" Sharpfin yells from the cockpit. "Look!"
The two hurry and look to where the land shark was pointing. Out of the fiery debris flies the Dreadyacht, chunks of metal and machinery passing straight through it like it wasn't even there.
"Well Hot Buttered Toast!" Mags yells. "I knew they'd make it out!"
The three of them cheer as the Dreadyacht sails to safety.

Cali steps out on the bow of the Dreadyacht and holds the Academy snow globe up in the air. She presses a button on its base and quickly backs up. The snow globe activates and floats up away from her. Light begins to shine from it as the glass dome slowly opens up. From its radiance comes the rapidly expanding Academy.
The buildings, the land, the mabu, all of it is restored to its proper size as the Academy is returned.
Mabu and friends alike reunite and celebrate this victory over the Darkness.
As they're all cheering, Cali looks out for Brain but doesn't see him. She shares a look with Buzz before the two of them begin their search.
They find the Ancient hovering near the window in the study, watching everyone else's celebrations with a distant gaze.
"You doin' alright there, compadre?" Buzz asks.
"Hmm, oh yes," he swiftly replies, shaking himself out of his stupor. "Especially now that we are free of that prison." He unconsciously shivers at the memory.
"You sure?" Buzz confirms.
"Ah, yes. 'Right as rain' or any other similar saying the kids like nowadays," he says with a stiff smile. "Everything worked out well for us. Especially since we are still in possession of this." He holds out the rift key.
"Thank the Ancients for that," Cali breathes.
"Indeed," Brain smiles. "Were you able to find Kaos?"
"Found and convinced him to join our side." Buzz says. "All we need now is the location of the Mist's Heart and our light portal master."

The group consisting of Cali, Flynn, Hugo, Mags, Sharpfin, Tessa, Buzz, Glumshanks, Kaos, and Brain are gathered around the statue of Eon in the central hall of the Academy.
