A dark shadow begins to loom over the Academy. Sharpfin and Mags look up at it and gasp. Mabu all throughout the Academy grounds look up at the sky in fear.

The Ultimate Ultimate Weapon flies up over the Academy. Flying the colossal machine is the mist clone of Flynn. He fires up the reactor and presses the 'fire' button. "Boom."

The Ultimate Ultimate Weapon begins to spin as energy gathers.

"Stop gawking!" Sharpfin grabs Mags and runs for his ship. He throws her on to it and starts to fire it up.

Tessa and Whiskers land on it. "What about the others!"

Sharpfin grunts. "Everyone for themselves!"

The Brain rushes onto the ship at this moment.

"Then what about the rift key!" Tessa asks.

The Brain's eye widens. "It's still in the study!" He turns and flies back towards the Academy.

"No!" Sharpfin yells. "Bloody bollocks! We don't have time!" He kicks the ship into gear and flies off.

The Ultimate Ultimate Weapon reaches its peak and a great laser blasts down from it, hitting the academy and all of its inhabitants. All of it begins to shrink further and further down until all that's left is a miniature snow globe with the Academy inside it.

Mist Flynn flies down on a sky ship and grabs it. "Righty-o!" He laughs. "Next stop, Woodburrow!"

Flynn, Cali, Buzz, Glumshanks, and Kaos fly up to where the Academy would normally be.

"Clouds," Cali breathes looking at the empty sky. "It's gone."

"Dusty dynamite! We're too late!" Buzz curses. "Now what are we s'posed to do?"

"We could regroup and talk to the others?" Flynn suggests.

"What others?" Buzz groans. "They're likely gone with the Academy."

"Uh, no. They're flying right at us."

"What?" Buzz whips around and spots Sharpfin's ship coming right towards them. "Boomsticks! They made it out!"

Sharpfin's ship pulls up beside them. Ropes are tossed over and they are tied to be docked to one another.

Tessa, Mags, and Sharpfin all cross onto the Dreadyacht.

"You made it out!" Cali exclaims.

"Aye, but not all of us." Sharpfin says. "Brain went back to get the rift key only to go down with the academy. We're back to square one, even with this little twerp." He gestures towards Kaos.

"Hey! Nobody calls me..."

"Can it you bald headed buffoon!" Buzz interrupts. "We ain't got time for squabblin'! The way I see it, we need to invade this Ultimate Ultimate Weapon and get the Academy back. So long as we don't have that rift key, there's no way for us to stop the spreading darkness!"

"Uh, fat chance at that one-eyed geezer," Kaos laughs. "The Darkness rebuilt my Ultimate Weapon with an impenetrable force field surrounding it — A classic evil doer trope, I might add. But nothing gets in, nothing gets out."

"Then we'll find a way to destroy it." Buzz growls. "We can't just let this Ultimate Weapon AND the mist continue their rampage throughout Skylands! At this rate, the Darkness will be released twice as fast!"

"That's no easy task there, Buzz." Mags chimes in. "I gotta good look at it as we were flyin' away and lemme tell ya, ain't nothin' breaking it down easy. That shield is nigh impenetrable. And they played it smart. No exterior way to bring it down."

"Then we'll come up with something else!"

"What about the Trolly Shroud?" Flynn suggests. "It's supposed to allow its wearer to pass through anything. Walls, doors, uh, other things you might want to pass through. Could work on a force field."

Buzz groans. "We need something quick. Something that can get us in before The Darkness breaks free. We don't have time to chase down myths."

"Um, actually, it's not a myth." Glumshanks interrupts. Everyone's eyes fall on him. "The Trolly Shroud was found long ago, actually, by the Troll Kings. It's passed down every generation from king to king."

"So you're saying we could go borrow it?"

"Uh... maybe not borrow, but perhaps steal?"

All of the heroes share a look. "Well, I don't see any other options, compadre. So I guess we're just gunna have ta steal it."

"Finally!" Kaos exclaims. "A non-boring plan you Sky-losers have come up with!"
