The Dreadyacht comes upon the dark mass that was the Mist. Black wisps and tendrils writhe along its outer edge, snapping back and forth in angry ways.

Eon floats up to the bow of the ship. "Flynn, I need you to fly directly into the caliginous mass."

Flynn shares a worried look with Kaos. "I had a feeling he would say that." He turns the wheel and the ship dives into the dark abyss.

A shining light emits from Master Eon's hands, pushing back the mist and opening a passage for them to travel through. The ship rocks back and forth through the turbulent path.

Kaos grabs onto the railing for support. "Keep it straight you fool!"

"What do you think I'm doing?" Flynn retorts, struggling to keep the wheel from violently spinning. He holds out for a few second longer and the turbulence stops.

"We are here," Brain says ominously as the Dreadyacht emerges from the mist over Mayhem Isle.

A dark and desolate sight awaits them below, the entire amusement park looking like it had been destroyed a century ago and has just been rotting away ever since.

"Wowsers," Flynn starts. "Looks pretty depress..." the cockpit explodes. A limp Flynn is thrown over the side of the ship and into the abyss.

Brain rushes to save him but the source of the explosion suddenly reveals themself. The King of Chaos steps out of the burning wreckage of the cockpit, his golden crown resting atop his head as regal as any king. His normally purple tunic is singed black from the flames and rubble of Eon's Citadel, his dark cape billowing in the wind. His two mismatched eyes shone with madness and fury.

"No," the Chaos King whispers, his whisper sounding like a hurricane. Dark magic intercepts Brain's attempt to save Flynn. Before he can counterattack the wolfman strikes and wraps him up completely in dark mist. He turns to destroy the Core of Light but Eon hits him with a blast of arcane, sending him stumbling backwards.

The Chaos King recovers and lets go of Brain. Switching up tactics, he draws in energy around himself before releasing it in an immense explosion, tearing the ship in half and sending everyone plummeting below.

Brain acts quickly and throws out a strand of arcane that races after Flynn, catching him just before he hits the ground.

He turns to do the same to the Core of Light but the Chaos King crashes into him before he can. Brain tries to struggle his way out of his grip, but the wolfman holds on tight. He watches as Eon uses his magic to stabilize the Core of Light's descent, realizing no one else would help him now.

That's when a dark blast strikes the Chaos King's back, flinging him off of Brain. Before the villain can react, a second blast sends him careening out over the isle.

Brain looks to the origin of the blasts and finds Kaos tumbling through the sky next to him. He throws some arcane out to catch the dark portal master as they all land safely on the ground.

Flynn and Kaos are both set down gently while Eon lowers the Core of Light onto the dirt. The light portal master shakes his head in exhaustion. "This may prove to be a problem." He says. "The Core is much to large for us to travel with through the rubble."

"And you know there will be henchmen in there," Kaos adds. "It's what I would do at least."

Brain nods his head in thought. "I may have our solution. I can shrink you three down with the core and that way me and the Skylander can maneuver it to the Heart."

Eon gives Brain an exhausted look. "Are you sure?"

"Absolutely," Brain says. "Besides, the Guardian of Knowledge said a portal master of light and dark must seal away the Darkness. Seeing as I am neither, it is best I do this while you conserve your energy."
