CHAPTER 4: THE SENDER

Estella's POV

"But are you sure about that? That's quite dangerous act, please think twice master" Keith said, pero binalewala ko lang ang sinabi niya at nag tunga sa study table saka binuksan ang laman ng brown envelop "I already decided and that's final Keith, just follow my order" 

 After I opened the envelop ay agad na bumungad sa akin ang isang sulat at isang picture ng academy na hindi mo aakalain na nag exist pala talaga sa mundo. Binuksan ko ang drawer sa study table at may kinuha ang isang lumang papel tiningnan ko ito ng mabuti saka ko kinuha ang isa pang papel na naka lagay sa envelop.

"Parehas?!" sinamaan ko agad ng tingin si Keith ng bigla siya sumigaw kaya napayuko ito "Sorry...pero seryoso pano nag karoon ng mapa ng Iverson Academy mga magulang mo Master? hindi naman nabanggit sa akin nina mama at papa na nag aral ang mga magulang mo sa Iverson"

"Yes, my parents didn't study in Iverson Academy nor Ivory Academy but they were part of the defense of the academy, in other word..." hindi ko na natuloy ang sasabihin ko ng mag salita siya "They were protectors and the reason why they didn't study in the Iverson Academy is because of Kingston High and Underworld?" 

"Iverson Academy is a refugee camp and a safe haven, once you enter in the Academy your safe and will receive protection but my parents doesn't need protection since they have their own home, my mother has the Kingston High while my father has Underworld both of them have a safe haven that's why they choose to protect those who needs to be protect"

Binuklat ko ang sobre na merong selyo ng academy at binasa ang naka sulat didto.

       Hi! Miss Salvatore we heard about your struggle on finding new school after you got expelled 20 times just a month, so we decided to help you, the Iverson Academy is ready to help and don't worry about the expenses because it's all free and please be advice that Iverson Academy is a boarding school you can just go home after the school year, if you were interested and like our offer then please sign at the bottom of this letter and someone will pick you up whenever you are, the school will give you 1 week to decide, if you sign it there's no turning back. "Oyy ma'am libre pirma kana, wala na tayong pera eh" Gulat akong napatingin kay Keith pag katapos niyang sabihin yun "What do you mean that we doesn't have a money?" I asked him curiously, napa kamot naman sa batok si Keit at awkwardong tumawa, "A-ano kasi ma'am...diba na expell ka ng 20 times sa isang buwan lang? So....we somehow gave a little amount as a bribe so the school will accept you" 

"And how much is small money you say?" I asked, and I immediately notice his uneasiness that's why I gave him a glass of water which he accepts using his trembling hands. 

"Well...ahh...i-isang m-milyon lang naman ma'am"

"Peso?"

I asked but then he shake his head

"Dollars"

Pag katapos niyang sabihin iyon ay agad akong napahinga ng malalim at sa oras na inidilat ko ang mga mata ko ay agad ng ambang kakaripas ng takbo si Keith ng bigla na lang siyang hindi naka galaw sa kinatatayuan niya, tumayo ako at nag simula ng mag lakad sa papunta sa kanyang harapan.
