"Why do you smell like that?"

"Who's with you?"

"Who touched you?"

"Do I have to snap a neck?"

Jihye puffed her cheeks and lightly hit the young dominant's arm after hearing his appeal.

The omega survived all her morning classes behind the questionable stares and unsaid comments of most of her classmates.

Not just she smells like someone is going to magically appear if an uninvited hand touches her; her own sweet scent is also seeping through.

She didn't have the chance to use scent mists as their classes are back-to-back, and she also kind of want this situation to last longer.

It was exciting, really. The way the alphas never had the guts to cross the one-meter distance, like she has her own territory,

Nobody dared to spit degradations and hungry comments in her direction.

It was definitely an alpha-free time.

But when the lunch bell went off and she excitedly skipped to the cafeteria without worries, that's when she just remembered her friends.

"Huang Renjun!", Mark exclaimed while dropping his utensils with a scoff. "That piece of shit!"

"Jihye! I thought I told you about his case. He must be lifted from suspension, but he's still on the blacklist!", Hyewon nagged.

Dami clicked her tongue and said, "This won't do. I'll ask the dorm auntie to let you stay in my unit."

"Please! Didn't you hear what I just said way before it? I agreed."

Silence surrounds the table, and only the clicking of the utensils and controlled chewing are heard.

"Guys, seriously, are you literally mad at me right now?"

"No, just disappointed.", Jisung simply answered with his usual monotone voice.

"Jihye, we're your friends. How come you didn't ask, or maybe tell us immediately?", Dami pointed out.

"I just...", the blonde let out a heavy sigh. "Okay, I'll be honest, it did skip out of my mind."

The other omegas huffed.

"But! I swear, I won't lie if ever you guys ask me about it. I'm really sorry; I should've asked for your opinions first."

"Isn't there something you can do to void it? I seriously didn't know about it.", Mark asked while nudging the dominant's elbow beside him.

Jisung just shrugged. "All we know is we can help the recessives have a normal cycle. Also, we can strengthen their stamina."

The last word made Jihye choke on her cola, almost spilling on the table as Hyewon patted her back.

"Stamina!?"

"What? You recessives have weaker energy levels and need rest every hour. A dominant's care can slowly fix it to be of normal omega's.", Jisung answered with a confused tone.

"Ahh, like the immune system?"

"Yeah. What are you thinking about?"
