Jihye thought wrong—kind of?

She already prepared billions of excuses for turning down her dormmate's possible invites, but she never received one.

Except for the constant talks, the ravenette omega really has a billion more topics up her sleeve.

Their shared dinner is fine, and Jihye can't deny that the new girl can cook.

She also offered some wine to at least wish for their newfound friendship, so the blonde bought a cake to at least welcome her.

Lei-An is super nice. It seems like her happy bubble won't burst anytime, and she's such a sunshine.

Jihye felt bad about her bad intentions to ignore her and just wish them to live separate lives.

Another morning came, and it was Lei-An's first day. She never stopped talking about her past experiences at Tantiana College, saying that it was the best school and the best choice she ever made. The school deserves to be fought for, as the ravenette explained. Her pheromones freely show how happy she is to be back.

"Once I graduate from this school, I swear I'm going to tell the people that I came from Tantiana College. I can't wait to see the jealousy on their faces", Lei-An boasted in a laugh, walking beside the blonde who has been silent for a long time. "Do you have a mate?"

"Huh?", Jihye snapped at her random question and slowly shook her head.

"No? Whyyy, you're pretty nice!"

"It shouldn't be the basis for having a mate. You two should have a connection."

"Oh, you didn't meet yours?"

Have I? Jihye's face flushed upon remembering a certain alpha, as it never passed the ravenette's eyes, and she giggled.

"You have! But they haven't claimed you."

"We are waiting for the right time", she hesitantly answered, not sure about the correct term of their delayed relationship.

"Hmmm, who? Are they pretty? Handsome? Cool? Oh my gosh, are they hot!", the ravenette bombarded as she excitedly hopped beside her like a kid who's waiting for a lollipop.

Jihye chuckled at her adorableness, thinking about how she could describe the alpha in one word.

"He is perfect."

"It's a he!", Lei-An exclaimed and clung to her arm with the brightest smile she could offer. "You know, I once had an alpha too; he was so nice even if others deemed him bad—he doesn't care though. I thought he's the perfect one for me, but in the end, it is the omega inside you that will have the last word."

"Last word?", Jihye looked at her in confusion.

"Yeah, my omega doesn't want him", she frowned. "We were in love though, but we have to stop it."

"JIHYE!"
