"Still no update from the two?", Dami asked as she pooled her arm on the other's.

"Nah", Hyewon shrugged. "But if I'm to be honest, I feel Jihye's good."

"You trust too easily!", the former retorted while hitting her friend's arm. "We sure don't know who Renjun really is, but that doesn't mean we could trust him!"

"Then let's trust Jihye. I'm sure she won't even submit to him if her omega feels that he's a threat. They will know if they're not compatible."

"Still! What if—oh shit, is that Zhong Chenle?", Dami shrieked as she leaped behind Hyewon, using the taller as some sort of wall to hide.

Hyewon hissed and pulled her out by her arm, marching towards the said male.

"Hey, you're Zhong Chenle, right? What are you doing in Jihye's unit?"

The male in question leaped in surprise, leaving the door to close itself while his eyes widened.

"O-oh hi.. oh, I swear I meant no harm. Renjun-hyung just asked me a favor to ventilate Jihye's unit so it'll be more fresh and comfortable for her if she'll come back."

"Renjun did?", Hyewon mused.

"You're omega?", Dami's jaw dropped.

Chenle chuckled while scratching his nape. "Yeah, is it weird?"

"Oh no, no, it's just that you're a good athlete—no wait, did you just say Renjun? DO YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO JIHYE!"

"RYU DAMI! Oh gosh, I'm sorry she's in her mom mode—shit, wait, your ring is a bit familiar?"

"Ah! Jisung Park bought this for our first year anniversary!"

"JISUNG PARK!?"

"Love...", Renjun hummed, watching the girl snuggle closer to him. "Still very tired?"

A light purr came from the girl, completely voiding the littlest space between them as she pressed her face on his bare chest.

"You're not hungry? It's almost noon.", he spoke in his still hoarse voice, yawning right after as the first string of energy rushed on his body.

"Alpha.."

"Hmm?"

"You smell good."
