Monday came after an eventful weekend.
Autumn leaves started falling down every second, reminding busy people that it is actually September.
Honestly, Jihye never caught on to the calendar as well; he only realized that it was the off-season after seeing the brownish streets.
"Exams are fast approaching; did y'all already study?", Mark started as the group of five friends walked past the buildings.
"Me and Hyewon are studying together, that's for sure. Jisung?"
"Not yet", the male simply answered and looked over to the blonde omega, "Ji."
"Huh?", Jihye looked up, startled, making the dominant sigh.
"Never mind, continue whatever you're doing."
When it is obvious that the girl is happily texting with a specific male, he chooses to just ignore it.
"GUYS!", a familiar screech and a big smiley face ran towards them, greeting the group with wide arms, but is actually directed to the dominant
Jisung just cleared his throat under his friends' confused gazes, tapping his omega's back, who immediately pulled away from the hug.
"Okaaay? What just happened?", Dami mused. "Where's the honorable secret?"
"Ah, you didn't tell them?", Chenle nudged the tall male, who just shook his head. "Psh anyways, Ji and I decided to stop hiding. That's all."
"Obviously", Mark playfully said.
"Huh? Ji? Me? Oh Chenle, you're here!", Jihye absentmindedly joined just by hearing the nickname Ji, greeted with her friends' heavy sighs.
"Morning Jihye, and I meant Jisung", the Chinese beamed. "What are you doing anyway? You seem occupied."
"I'm talking with Renjun, sorry", she apologetically smiled. "But we're fine now, so where are we?"
"Jiji,", Dami sighed. "Obviously, we're in the part where we all separate to our own buildings."
"Right", Jihye nodded and glanced at her wristwatch. "Sooo, I think I'll go first? My building's far from here."
"Jiyang, we're in my building. Yours is just literally at the left", Mark pointed out.
It made the omega's face shift in realization, and he laughed it off.
"Sorry, for the hundredth time. Anyways, I can't join you for lunch, so I think I'll just see you at dismissal if we do see each other."
"Ya! Invite him to our table instead!", Hyewon yelled.
"I'll try!", the blonde just replied while running.
