Jihye woke up earlier. Her body is still entangled with the satisfying warmth that is continuously lulling her to sleep again.

A soft, fluffy blanket draped over them, hiding the two figures that seemed glued to each other.

A small hum escaped as she snuggled closer to the welcoming body beside her. As energy rushed to her system, her senses slowly strengthened and her eyes fluttering open.

A contended smile curled on her lips the moment she saw the dominant laying peacefully, his chest softly heaving. She can also feel his arm over her waist, while the other is settled on her head like a pillow.

She stared at him for a few minutes, just adoring his face and taking in the fact that she's finally with him.

She slowly propped herself up though, worried that his arm would probably cramp, but the moment she did, he gripped on her waist to stop her.

"Stay", he sleepily mumbled.

"You surprised me. Did I wake you up?"

"I can feel your stares."

"Oh, so I really disturbed your sleep."

Renjun shot his eyes open and leaned closer for a peck on her lips. "I don't mean it like that."

Jihye lightly laughed and rejoined their lips once again, but this time for a little bit longer.

Energy immediately cursed on Renjun's system and shifted his body to kiss her better, the hand on her waist now cupping the side of her cheek to deepen it.

They pulled away after awhile, their eyes directly meeting each other.

Euphoria. The eternal happiness they always wanted.

Intoxicated. The only drug they would take.

It's not just mere eye contact. When sparks of stars twinkled on their lovely orbs—that wonderful feeling

How can single-eye contact fully relay what they feel?

"I missed you", Renjun subconsciously said, like his voice couldn't now handle the beating of his chest.

"I'm sorry"

His brows furrowed, not expecting the reply.

"Emotions got over me, and I have done the worst."

"It's not true."

"It is. Even though my instincts say that it's not clearly your fault, I still let my thoughts cloud my mind and hurt you."

"Baby, you didn't know. It is true that I was hurt, but it's mostly because of the weight of the fault that I daunted between us."

"I should've listened to you more, and most especially, I shouldn't have gotten closer with Jaehyun."

"Stop apologizing,", he smiled. "It might be wrong for some, but this is our nature, baby. You seek comfort from Jaehyun, and that's normal because you and your omega are adjusting to what happened. It just so happens that Jaehyun is also a potential mate, so it got easier for you to trust him."
