The situation is undeniably heavier than expected. Of course, not all happiness runs for a lifetime without bumping into a rocky road.

But this one sure isn't easy. There isn't one, but two enemies crashing on them side by side, and if they're not holding on together, they might possibly collapse.

Despite the thrill and thirst for action, I bet all people would just prefer to sleep and be lazy rather than compete every day just for the adventure.

In this case, it's not only Jihye who's fighting for her life in her dormitory, but also Renjun, who's always on the verge of running and going hulk whenever he'll see the girl alone.

It is a given that Lei-An can't cross the line as she has more cramped schedules because she's falling behind the class, but the problem is Jaehyun. That dominant alpha is also more competitive than everyone knew.

The pair's buildings are exactly two polar opposites, restricting their ability to see each other. It would take 5–6 minutes minimum for one to reach the other.

But Jaehyun, that guy just has to pass two buildings to see her.

Sure, Renjun warned the omega not to get close to him, and even for the lack of explanation, she agreed.

It's not that Renjun doesn't trust her, but he's too clouded by the fact that she is Jaehyun's potential mate. Because of the mating call, there is also no doubt that they are both compatible.

Renjun is surely trampled by just these facts. Jihye's omega is now fit for two.

"Your birthday's coming up", he randomly brought up.

"Oh my gosh, you're right! I'm so sorry, baby; I'm all preoccupied with these labs", Dami cried.

"What do you want to do, Jiyang?", Mark beamed. "Do you want it simple, or we'll go on a trip?"

"I don't have a fixed plan; I just want to eat out with you guys, I guess", Jihye shrugged.

"I know", Hyewon clapped. "Let's go to the Pearl Gallery; I heard they have new booths that week. Then we can stroll around the plaza, pig ourselves on road trips, and just get off to wherever places caught our interest!"

"That's such a plan", Jisung tuts.

Though the girl just giggled, "How about it? Do you like it?"

"Yeah, it's simple and an on-the-spot trip; let's do that."

"See? I'm a legend."

The squad can just laugh at their bubbly friend and continue to raise their suggestions about the upcoming birthday.

The birthday girl seemed preoccupied, though, catching the attention of the dominant person beside her.

Renjun placed a hand on her lap, startling her. He smiled.

"Care to share?", he hushed.

She shook her head. "Just random things."

"Well, I suggest you listen to your friends' plans if you don't want your day to be the most random birthday party ever."
