Jihye's eyes widened in a fraction by surprise and he nodded. "Okay, I won't run again."
"Take your sister downstairs and let her rest."
"Yes dad"
The man just closed the door with him afterwards, leaving the siblings with their hearts drumming on their chests and catching up their breaths.
"I told you he's not that mad at you anymore", Jungwon whispered as he held the girl's wrist while they walked down the stairs.
"I don't know; have you seen his eyes? They're stabbing me."
"That's just how dad is, duh."
"Renjun's dad isn't. His eyes are sparkling."
"You met them?", the alpha gasped.
"Oh, I haven't told you yet", she giggled, and they started the story time until they reached the living room.
It was lunchtime when Renjun called, checking up on her and telling her all the things that he had done with his parents.
All Jihye knows is that they just arrived at Silverline Park to eat and would stroll around the land when her mom called for lunch.
[Actually, mom wants me to relay something]
"Hmm?"
[They wanted to meet your parents for dinner. That is, if it's okay for them.]
"Oh my god, for what?"
[Dunno, but they are looking forward to the meeting.]
