"You might really want to take a break."
Renjun's brow arched as he followed where his classmate was pointing, his face lighting up in surprise when he saw the omega peeking through the glass windows.
The dominant immediately dropped his pencil and safely covered his plate, jogging to the door as a grin curled on his lips when he reached her up close.
"How pleasant did it be in my past life to have the honor of having my sweethearts see me?"
Jihye can just roll her eyes and push a plastic sandwich and banana milk on his chest, catching the male off-guard.
"Oh, did I saved the world or something?"
"You told me you were tired."
"Yes?"
"And hungry"
"Mhm?"
"So there", she nudged her head to the snacks. "It's not enough, so go down and eat properly."
"You're leaving already?"
"Of course, I have to do my assignments too."
Though the male just smiled, he took the snacks in one hand and spread his arms, making the omega's brow raise.
"Come on, I need my energizer."
"Not in a public space, Huang; they might think we're a thing!"
"They already do. With my scent on yours, that is. I can give you another alpha-free day, so it's a win-win."
Still hesitant, the omega slowly inched closer until she crashed on the dominant's body, an immediate wave of warmth and comfort rushing through her system.
Renjun just tightened his hold and cooed as he saw how the girl fit perfectly on his arms, finally releasing a protective scent around her, but being careful not to scare her.
The moment Jihye felt lulled and sleepy was the same time the male pulled away. She can't help but pout at the trickling coldness in the void of warmth.
"Aww, is my baby sleepy? You want me to cuddle you in?"
"You wish", she just spat and tutted at the teasing grin on his face. "I'll go now; make sure to eat lots after.. whatever you're doing."
"I will do it if my love feeds me."
"Oh, fuck off."
Not wanting to spend another dilly-dally time, Jihye walked away without looking back.
Renjun still stayed and watched her back though, satisfied that no one dared to step on her boundaries and just moved away like they're afraid to touch her.
He deeply chuckled and looked at the given snacks again, a small sticky note catching his eye.
