Maeve was awoken by a crippling pain, and overwhelming shouts surrounding her. "WAKE UP, KID," She heard an unfamiliar voice shout. She knew she'd heard it before, but she had no idea who it was. Opening her stiff brown eyes, she noticed she was at the bottom of the bed in the spare room. "Jack? What the hell is going on?" She laughed, pulling herself up and flopping immediately onto the bed that he was sat up in. "You fell asleep on the floor. You were really drunk," he laughed, ruffling her messy brown hair. "Oh my god who's got Jade? Jesus Christ is it normal to be in this much pain?" She continued from her panic, squeezing her eyes shut and rubbing her forehead. "Chill out mouse, jades fine. I think the boys have got her downstairs, they're all a lot better than you," he laughed. "God I need to go and see her. Can you get dec please?" She pleaded, fluttering her eyes. "DECLAN," Jack shouted super loud from his head, earning a wince from the girl. "Fuck me Jack, not like that, please," she groaned, head butting the duvet. "What?" He panted, also pained whilst running through the bedroom door. "Help," Maeve reached up to him with grabby hands, just like how Jade does to her. "You look like shit," he laughed, walking over to the bed and lifting her up. "Shut your face," she pouted. "Oi watch what your saying, I could drop you at any second," her brother laughed. Soon enough, they reached her bedroom and he dropped her down on her bed. "Are the boys still here?" She asked curiously as she perched on her bedding. "Most of them yeah, why?" He queried, folding his arms from her door say. She shrugged in response. "Just wondering."

Maeve simply didn't have the energy to remove last nights makeup or undo the plaits that she assumed dec had done for her to sleep in, so she simply through a hoodie on top of her silky pyjama top and pulled some fluffy socks on. She threw her hood up and began trudging downstairs. "Here she is, sleeping beauty," Jadon winked as she walked into the lounge where the boys were all sprawled across the sofas. All except Mason, who was sat on the floor colouring in with Jade. This warmed Maeve's heart slightly, she loved seeing Jade taken care of well. "Why is it so bright in here? Why are you all so loud?" she huffed, flopping onto the sofa between Jude and Ben. "It's a little something called sunlight, mouse. Tends to come through the windows in the morning," Ben chuckled, pointing to the window. This earned him a playful middle finger from the girl. They all laughed. "Even your laughter is too loud," she covered her ears with her hands, squinting her eyes tightly shut. All the boys tried their best to help her and stay quiet, but just one look at eachother they all burst out laughing once again. "It's alright, mouse, I'll get you a coffee and some pills," Mason assured her, standing up off the floor and dusting his grey joggers and black 'combat' hoodie down.

"You are a life saver, mase," she yawned, trying to smile at the boy who jogged off to the kitchen. "How are you guys not hungover?" Maeve quietly laughed. "Because we stopped drinking about three hours before you," Dec replied, beginning to tidy the floor and turning the TV on for Jade. Ben jumped up as his phone rang, heading for the doorway. "Why does hé have his phone volume so loud?" Maeve sighed, flinching at the noise. "Please never ever let her drink again, Dec," jude laughed, rolling his eyes. Maeve glared at him, before playfully slapping his arm. "Sorry guys, got to get going. Mrs has summoned me," Ben shrugged, tying his shoe laces. "In a bit mate," the boys all chorused, saying bye to him. Maeve waved and soon the boy was gone.
Slowly through the day, the boys all disappeared. It was late afternoon when just Maeve, Dec, Jack and Mason remained in the living room. They had had a very chilled day. Dec and Jack sat on one sofa in hoodies and joggers, Maeve sat between Mason and Jade with a fluffy blanket over them. As the movie they were watching dragged on, Maeve yawned. "You tired?" Mason whispered to her. She nodded, closing her eyes and without even thinking, resting her head on his shoulder. She wasn't even drunk now, she was fully aware of what she was doing, but she couldn't resist.
(Masons POV)
I smirked, feeling an unusual feeling in my stomach as she gently placed her head on my shoulder. I looked to the boys on the other sofa to check they weren't looking, which they weren't, before wrapping my arm around her delicate shoulders. She was so effortlessly beautiful. Her hoodie was oversized, making het look smaller and cuter than I thought was possible. I felt her place her bare leg over my lap as she snuggled into my embrace. The scent of her clean shampoo mixed with perfume drifted up my nostrils like pheromones to my brain. I'd met her not even 24 hours ago, and I already couldn't deny there was something there. Not something like the other boys saw - a sexy girl to compliment and look at for fun. A deeply beautiful soul with her exceedingly beautiful looks as a bonus. I just wish I knew if she felt the same.
"Ooooh," Jack whispered to Dec audibly, whilst pointing at us. I smirked, raising my spare hands middle finger at them. "He really is trying to get in there, isn't he?" Dec laughed, nudging Jack. "Shut up," I tried to respond, but couldn't help but smile. "See," they both laughed. I simply didn't even want to correct them, so i rested my head on hers and held her tight with both arms.
