That night, everything felt perfect. Various members of the squad had gathered in Maeve's room, but she didn't care. She purely embraced their company. Nothing mattered right now. The tv quietly played her show in the background, the room in darkness with the fairy lights hanging down her mirrored wardrobe showing the only light. She could just about see the reflection through the darkness - everyone else in the room was asleep. Jack lay across the bottom of the bed still, Jesse was across the sofa with Bukayo asleep on the other arm of the sofa. Declan and Ben were asleep on the floor, their hoods up and sleeves over their hands. And of course, mason held his girlfriend tight against his chest, sleeping with a small smirk in his face. He stirred as she moved herself up slightly.
"You ok, princess?" He whispered, his eyes still closed. Maeve smiled, resting her head on his shoulder and throwing her arms around her boyfriend.
"Yep, I'm great," she smiled, taking a deep breath to inhale his delicious scent. He rubbed her arm that she had placed over him, gently kissing the top of her head before resting his chin there and falling back to sleep.

"Mate trust me," Jacks voice woke Maeve the following morning as she felt gentle laughter beneath her.
"Absolutely not you've just made that up on the spot," Jesse responded, shaking his head with his arms folded. Maeve took a deep breath and sniffed, opening her eyes.
"Morning, mouse," mason whispered, cupping her face with his hand.
"Morning handsome," she smiled, snuggling into him.
"You know what, I have actually heard that before. I think he's right," Bukayo piped up, causing Ben and Jesse to groan.
"You're both lying!" Ben shook his head, gesturing with his hands to Jack.
"Look Maeve's awake, she'll know," Dec turned to the girl, leaving her confused.
"I have no idea what you're arguing about but whatever it is better be important seeing as it woke me up," she laughed with a yawn. She knew for a fact it wouldn't be important.
"It's so important, Jacks trying to tell us that McDonald's make bubblegum flavoured broccoli? Like that's not even possible?" Ben shrugged.
"Since when did McDonald's even make broccoli?" Mason laughed, his hand still stroking the girls side.
"Urm guys," Maeve scratched her head, sitting up in bed and folding her legs, Mason flopping back on the pillow and using his hand to stroke the pit of her back. "It's true, they sell broccoli at McDonald's in the Netherlands and I remember once they did this big campaign about a Japanese scientist who worked out how  to make it taste like anything in the world."
"FUCKING TOLD YOU SO!" Jack jumped up on the bed, sticking his middle finger up at the boys who had disagreed with him. They all laughed, continuing the conversation through lots of banter. From an outsiders point of view, it would seem like they all hated eachother. But it was their way of showing love.
"How are you feeling today?" Mason whispered to maeve whilst the boys continued talking and shouting at eachother.
"I'm feeling great, thank you for turning my whole mood around," she smiled, placing a kiss on his lips. As she was about to pull away, she felt him smile deeply into the kiss, his hand reaching up to her neck and holding her Close to him. Her hands roamed down his abdomen, but stopped before she got any further due to the group of boys in the room with them. She ran her hands back up to his chest, the kiss continuing passionately.
"Get a room, you guys," Jack rolled his eyes playfully, causing them to unfortunately pull out of the kiss.
"If you hadn't noticed, this is my room," Maeve raised her eyebrows, turning to face the boys and reaching over to ruffle Jacks hair.
"She's not wrong to be fair," Bukayo shrugged, laughing. They all continued laughing for about ten minutes, discussing random things. Until the boys decided it was time to head back to their own rooms. One by one, they filed out of Maeve's room, until it was just herself and the love of her life left in the room.

"Now, where were we?"
