"God you have no food in this house." I muttered as I closed the fridge. My dad jumped from the couch, scared to death by my appearance.
"Shit Sage." He muttered throwing his head back and rubbing his face, "you can't scare me like that."
"Yeah we'll your fridge is scaring me." I told him.
Dad stood up and walked over to the kitchen, "when did you get here?" He asked. I shrugged, "few hours ago. Stopped by the dojo." I stated.
My dad looked at me confused, "dojo what dojo?"
"Cobra Kai." I stated, "I was looking for you but then I found Grandpa and then my brother? Thanks for telling me about him by the way." I said rolling my eyes grabbing a cup from the cabinet and filling it with sink water.
"You went to cobra Kai?" My dad asked upset.
"Hey I didn't know y'all moved! You guys haven't exactly been keeping me updated on everything that's happened here." I stated shrugging, "a text on my birthday would have been nice."
"Bold of you to assume I know when your birthday is." Dad said to me, "besides phones go both ways."
"Yeah. I know. You left me on read." I said shaking my head. My dad rolled his eyes, "I didn't even know you could leave on colors."
I rolled my eyes at his inability to understand technology.
Sure I was bitter dad and my friends forgot about me soon after I left, but I guess I didn't do much either. When they distanced their selves, I took that as a sign.
Clingy was something I never wanted to be described as.
Eli was the worst to be honest. Two weeks into the move, his texts dwindled down to nothing.
"You know I should have fought more to stay. Everything seems to have gone to shit." I stated, leaning across the kitchen counter.
My dad sighed, "you have no idea." He muttered.
"I'm going to go to bed if that's alright." I said putting the cup in the sink.
"Yeah, couch is all yours." He stated. I smiled and walked over to the couch, laying down. God I missed this couch.
"Sage." My dad said, I looked over at him, "don't go back to cobra Kai."
I rolled my eyes and laid my head back on the arm rest, closing My eyes. "I know you guys have beef with them, but I wasn't here. It doesn't apply to me."
"I'm serious Sage." Dad stated.
"I've been in cobra Kai for over 10 years dad. Grandpa trained for all my life." I said.
"It's changed.."
I shrugged, burying myself deeper into the couch. "So have I."

"She looks absolutely rancid with that thing!" A girl said in the large stall to her friends. I washed my hands in the sink not paying attention.
"I mean no wonder she's gay, no boy wants to kiss a mouth like that." Another girl stated.
"I heard a rumor that she did it to herself. Some kind of self harm thing."
"No it's just for attention."
I rolled my eyes at the girls and wiped my hands on paper towels.
I watched as the door unlocked and it was pushed open. I grabbed the door and opened it fully, revealing the 4 girls in the bathroom stall together. "Hi." I said smiling. They looked at me terrified, as I closed the door behind me, locking it. "I also heard a rumor about that girl." I whispered to them in my gossip voice, "I heard that's she's fucking all of your boyfriends." I gasped slightly at the information I had just told, "I also heard," I changed my voice back to normal, "that she's going to beat your asses."
"Sage." My dad said snapping his fingers over my face. I jumped slightly, shutting my mouth as I looked around the bright room. "What." I groaned turning around on the couch to go back to sleep.
"We have practice in an 20 minutes." He stated.
"I am not going to practice for some dojo with some stupid name." I mumbled into the couch.
"Eagle fang is bad ass." Dad stated.
I sighed, the sleepiness leaving my body so I sat up on the couch, rubbing my face. "It's not. Besides I have plans."
"With who?" Dad asked tying his headband around his forehead.
"Grandpa." I stated grabbing my phone from the table.
