Izuku Midoriya's Pov:

After moving into the dorms, we were back to normal classes. Well, now we had our next goal set for us. Obtaining our Provisional Trainer licences. That means that we can fight criminals and stop them. But major damage is still not allowed.

"About the upcoming Trainer licence exam. According to statistics. Only 50% of students pass. Even though most students go through this on their second year, you guys are different. While today. You guys will be creating something new." Mr. Aizawa explained. The door to our class opened as some teachers. Midnight, Ectoplasm and Cementos came in. "Today, we'll be working on Ultimate moves."

"Ultimate moves!?" The whole class yelled. Is that something like a signature move for Pokemon?

"When we say Ultimate moves. We mean an action that ensures your win against foe's." Mr. Ectoplasm said.

"Something unique to your Trainer and Pokemon identities. Something that no one else could copy" Mr. Cementos said.

"Your moves often define who you are. Most pros these days have one. Those who don't are fools" said Miss. Midnight.

"This may sound abstract, but as the day goes by, you'll learn a bit more. For now, go change into your trainer costumes and meet at gym Gama." Mr. Aizawa said.

So, changing. We all then headed to Gym Gama.

"This place is a facility created by me" Mr. Cementos said. "My Pokemon and I are able to create unique terrains for any student."

"Excuse me! Please allow me a question" Iida yelled. "What is the benefit of having Ultimate moves for the licensing exam! May we know your reasoning!?"

"That's two questions. Calm down. Us veterans have a job of protecting others from any kind of danger. Of course the licensing exam analyses how well you can deal with these things. But fighting isn't everything. The exam judges you based of how well you can gather information and quick decision making. As well as cooperation with others." Mr. Aizawa explained. "The test changes every year"

"One thing is important" said Midnight. "Being a veteran means you have to prevail. Those who have Ultimate moves get higher marks."

"Gym leader Kamui woods is a good example for Ultimate moves. His ace Pokemon, Trevenant, has the special ability to control the nature of trees, that including its own body. Though it's not a proper Pokemon move, his Laqured chain prison is used to capture villains in an instant. That is something unique to him." Mr. Ectoplasm said. "Also, an Ultimate move doesn't have to be an attack or capture. It could be something that increases your whole body. Like mega evolution for Pokemon who can't mega evolve."

"For the next the days or so, you'll be working in this." Said Mr Aizawa. "So, let's begin"

So, with Class 1-A training against various copies of Ectoplasm's Wheezing. Some people had been struggling.

Currently, Ectoplasm was watching Ojiro fight with his Ambipom.

"It's pretty obvious that you rely on your tail to much. Let's re-examine the way you fight" Ectoplasm said.

"Yes sir." 'but the tail is Amnipom's gimmick' Ojiro thought.

Of course everyone else had been working on their moves no problem.

10 days have passed with everyone having at least one ultimate move for each Pokemon they had.

"Ughh! Why does training have to be so hard!" Mina complained. Her and the girls were currently in the dorm's common area, at night.
