deena opened the door and she saw tommy, nick and simon outside the door. it seemed pretty suspicious to her. "what are you guys doing here?"

"oh, we were just gonna ask if you wanted to go to a party? well, it's kate's party and apparently we're the ones inviting you." simon crossed his arms with a groan. "if you two aren't too busy with anything."

deena looked at sam who had an annoyed look on her face. "nope! we're not busy at all. we'll go."

"what?" sam interfered.

deena glared at sam. "we are going."

sam looked away and was still clearly upset from getting interrupted.

"it will take awhile to get there though. it took us about 30 minutes to walk here."

"we won't walk. sam will drive us."

"what? i don't have my car."

"but cindy does." deena stated, grabbing cindy's car keys from the kitchen counter. 

"you know cindy isn't gonna be happy when i drive her car, right?" sam replied, getting off from the couch.

"yeah but she doesn't have to know that you drove it." deena said. "now can you please drive?"

"but-"

"please?"

"fine."

sam took the keys from deena's hand and rushed outside to the driveway. the group followed along and got inside the car. sam started the car and drove to kate's house.

once they arrived, the party was packed. sam wasn't expecting this many people.

nick, tommy and simon wasted no time and separated from each other. it was now only sam and deena.

"are you gonna stay in that car forever?" deena asked as she got out of the vehicle. "come on, it won't be that bad."

sam sighed softly and turned the car off. "if you insist." she replied as she started walking inside the house.

sam was one the students that were super well known but she never went to any of the parties. she didn't like the loud noises or people in general.

"i'm gonna go talk to kate, alright?" deena said with a smile before walking over to kate.

sam didn't even have time to answer. she had no idea why she agreed to go in the first place. she started to get bored so she went outside in the backyard where people played beer pong.

she noticed two teenagers kissing and rolled her eyes. "give me a break." she muttered to herself while walking away.

everything was going fine until she noticed someone who looked slightly familiar.

"what the fuck?" sam was shocked and annoyed to see kurt. she decided to go over and talk to him. "i need you to leave, you're trespassing someone's property." she demanded.

"wait. listen to what i have to say first." kurt quickly stated.

sam looked around and let out a sigh. "fine. tell me then leave. i can't stand your face."

kurt looked down and let out a chuckle. "you know that deena's using you, right?"

"what?"

"she's using you. come on. you seem like a nice girl and i wouldn't want you to be all naive and fall for her trap." kurt said, crossing his arms. "when her senior year is all over, she's gonna be done with you and move back to where she came from. deena won't remember a single thing about you."

sam's heart started beating rapidly and her ears started ringing loudly to the point where she felt like she couldn't hear anything.

"sorry to burst your bubble like this." kurt said as he was about to leave. "oh and one more thing. be careful for the road." he said one last time before jumping out from the fence and to his car.

sam just stood there and started breathing fast. it felt like she couldn't breathe. she started going back in the house to leave but bumped right into tommy.

"why the f- sam?" tommy asked, looking weirdly at sam. "are you okay? it looks like you've seen a ghost."

sam couldn't answer and pushed him aside, going towards the exit.

"sam."

sam recognized that voice.

"are you alright?" deena looked concerned considering how pale sam was getting.

"i'm fine. leave me alone please." sam answered lowly. her voice was quiet but it was noticeable. she rushed over outside to cindy's car. she didn't care if it wasn't hers, she just wanted to go home.

sam wasted no time and started the car. she backed up the vehicle and drove as fast as possible.

sam didn't bother to follow the speed limit. she just had to get out of there.

since it was getting dark, all of a sudden there was a bright light coming from the side. it was a car.

sam didn't notice and was harshly hit by the car and making it flip upside down.

and with that.

it all went black.
