CHAPTER TWELVE
"OH look who's here! The Crown Prince Blaze Delwyn, his highness," the man mockingly said. His three other friends laughed together. What a disrespectful bastard! If you do that to any member of the British royal family, the guards would immediately arrest you.
"Ang prinsipeng nagtatago sa likod ng kaniyang mga magulang," pang-aasar no'ng isang lalaking nasa tabi no'ng sumampal sa akin. Bale dalawa sila at dalawa rin ang nakahawak sa magkabilang kamay ko. The guys holding me up laughed, too. I rolled my eyes and burned their hands so they immediately shrieked in panic and removed their hands away from me.
"Are you protecting that girl, your highness?" Tanong no'ng bobong lightning descendant. Itinuro niya pa ako.
"Yes, and you'll pay for hurting her," he warned. Both guys sniggered.
"Really? What would you do? Ask your soldiers to arrest me?" The dunderhead replied. How I want to burn all his hairs.
"What punishment do you want?" The Prince asked, unbothered by the guy's rudeness. Nagkatinginan silang dalawa at sabay pang tumango.
"I challenge you to a duel," sabay pa nilang sabi. Duel? I turned to the prince and waited for him to decline.
"Duel then. But let's do it outside. I don't want your blood inside my theatre," Prince Blaze confidently said. What!? Bakit siya pumayag!?
Masayang naglakad ang dalawang epal palabas ng teatro maging ang mga taong gustong manood ng duwelo. The people bowed to the prince before returning to what they are doing. I immediately held Blaze's arm.
"Why would you agree with their stupid deal? Paano kapag nasaktan ka?" Nag-aalala kong tanong. He faced me and smiled widely. What in the bloody hell is he thinking?
"Describe me in one word," utos niya. Ano namang connection nito sa tanong ko?
"Arrogant," I replied as if automatically. He gave me a smirk.
"Exactly. If I order their arrest, then I just accepted that what they perceive about me is true. My pride won't take that. Now, come and watch how I take revenge for you, my dear." He, then, confidently sauntered away from me. Napapakamot na lang ako sa ulo ko. Wala naman akong choice kundi samahan siya. Kapag talaga may nangyaring masama sa kaniya, naku!
Paglabas ko, nasa magkabilang dulo ang mga maglalaban. Dalawa sila tapos mag-isa lang ng amo ko. Unfair naman nito! Ngayon pa lang dehado na siya.
"Are you sure you can defeat them? Just tell me if you need some help and I would burn the whole market," I whispered to him. He sighed and then faced me again.
"Do you trust me?" He asked, obviously peeved by my presence. Wait, do I trust him? Of course. If not, edi sana hindi ko na ipinagkatiwala sa kaniya ang buhay ko. I trusted him to bail me out from the jail and he did.
"Yes, but I don't trust them," sagot ko na lang. Nag-iwas ako ng tingin at pinanood ang ginagawang paghahanda no'ng mga kalaban niya.
"Tumabi ka dyan kung ayaw mong madamay," utos nitong kasama ko at itinulak pa ako palayo. Nakasimangot naman akong gumilid. Katabi ko ngayon ang mga taong gustong manood ng laban nila.
"Sino ba 'yang dalawang 'yan? Ang tapang naman nila."
"Do they really think that they can win against Prince Blaze?"
