CHAPTER FORTY-SIX

He sounds like a villain who's about to lose. I can't wait to stab him in the chest with my flaming sword.

"Your army is just as much as half of mine. How do you think you can win?" mapang-asar niyang tanong.

"Simple. My people are dedicated. Yours aren't," Blaze replied. He made his voice louder so Albus could hear. But the latter just sniggered.

"Yeah, and?" he mockingly said.

"Hey Albus, the old hag!" I called him. I even waved my flaming sword to get his attention.

"Oh wow! You brought a fire descendant! Mind you, that girl would only bring you bad luck." And now he's mumbling nonsense.

"You, piece of dirt, scumbag and feeble-minded traitor, let me tell you something. Our army consists of the true defender of the throne. Actually, one of us is your daughter," I yelled at him, putting emphasis to 'our'. He doesn't seem to like what I've said and he became furious.

"Get me the king's head, now!" he roared to his army. They were shouting, screaming and chanting as they ran towards us.

"Don't get killed! Instead, kill them!" Blaze shouted as we watch them approach.

"Let me burn them into ashes," I mumbled. Before they could even come near us, Blaze and I already made a move. I sliced through the air horizontally which made a wave of flame, burning five people in the making. Blaze stomped on the ground, creating a small tsunami of ice.

I advanced forward, slicing through a huge number of soldiers. I am using my sword to shove these sorcerers away from my path. I need to catch the biggest fish.

Damn this peasants. I held unto the haft of my sword and sliced through the air to produce a ball of fire. They used their powers to blow the fire away. Huh! I smirked as I watch the fire envelope their bodies and turned them into ashes.

While on track, an ice descendant threw ice shards to my direction. I just made a wave of fire using my sword and melted the shards before they could even harm me. Tss.

While I was dealing with it, I didn't notice the arrows in the sky. They have archers, huh? It looks like it's raining but with arrows. Oh no!

"Damn these arrows," I heard Blaze mumbled right behind me. He blocked the arrows using his ice sheet. Nice timing!

"Thanks, pal," I mumbled and returned my gaze to the ice descendant I am fighting with, only to find out he got hit with an arrow right on his head. Great.
